## Portfolio & Awards

### The Playground
Founded by stage lighting designer legend, Sooner Rae, The Playground create iconic experiences for their artists.
Following a highly successful career working with the likes of Coldplay, KISS, The Lumineers, Panic! At the Disco, Paramore and Muse, Sooner sought to create an agency with a completely unique look and feel that embodied her view of what the industry could be.
We helped define the proposition through our strategy workshops, we created a messaging house before building a visual route complete with 3D animations.
We also designed and built a website for the brand launch, a React site that incorporates the stunning gig footage the team create to really show off what these guys can do.

### Goolf
When we were approached by Goolf, their brief was simple – change the game.

They were looking to us to work with them in totally shake up a traditionally stuffy sport. Shed the old-school reputation entirely and make something that felt completely fresh, something that would fit with how emerging players are starting to experience the game.
As an existing Apple iOS and Google Play store app, Goolf was here for like-minded players to find, meet and golf with each other. Adding a new layer to how players could enjoy a game.
Their challenge was that the current brand wasn’t reflective of the true nature of the vision, the guys behind the app, or the new players coming through.

### Penguin & Jamie Oliver, ONE
As the title claims, each recipe is cooked in just one tray, pot or pan: perfect for getting great food on the table, fast… and minimising washing up time.

Following our success with last year’s creative campaign for Jamie’s TOGETHER: Memorable Meals Made Easy, Penguin Random House asked us to help out again for the 2022 campaign.

Although centred around a simple concept, ONE boasts an innovative array of cooking techniques, tricks to cut down on costs, ways to pivot away from meat, keep a cleaner kitchen and avoid food waste.

### Zurp
ZURP came to us with our ideal brief - we are a banking app that wanted to look nothing like a banking app.

Funded by MAGICVC, Zurp were looking to create a new kind of banking app - one that doesn’t charge you fees. Instead, you invest your fee’s in your favourite artists, giving back and supporting those that mean the most to you.

They came to us with an idea for an app but needed help building it into a brand that would cut through, especially with a discerning Gen-Z-centric audience.
Rumour has it, Drake is coming on-board… you heard it here first.

### Curve Club
We helped create a brand identity for a new Shoreditch private members club that unites physical and digital in tech’s most ‘romantic’ sense.
Curve Club is the only private members club exclusive to founders. Founded by a fully female team including our CEO Rosie Dallas, who by 30 had cofounded 4 successful businesses, 2 of which have sold in the tens of millions (one being Fat Llama acq $40m in 2022). She and her cofounders are passionate about building community and finding innovations in every field.

### Prowly
Recently acquired Prowly were looking to relaunch their brand to reflect their evolution from tech start-up to serious market leader.
With Prowly, PR professionals can manage media relations more effectively while saving time on routine tasks.
We wanted to create them a brand that felt like a natural build on where they’d come from, but still moved the needle along as a new brand for the market. We created this brand that had it’s root in an editorial style, deliberately reflective of the PR world, and introduced a beautiful bespoke illustration sets to give it a real sense of character and personality.
Combined, the styles deliver a really confident and memorable identity that Prowly are super excited to launch globally.

### Badoo Brand Showcase
The brand showcase was designed as a way to bring their amazing brand to life. A brand full of fun quirks and personality, it naturally itself to becoming an interactive online experience that lets people really get to know the brand.

### Smiler
Smiler comes up with a different kind of gig economy for event and venue photographers

Smiler is an on-the-spot photography marketplace used by freelance, professional and enthusiast photographers. They show the customer a QR code to connect them to the photos. Customers are then matched with their photoshoot, which they can then review and purchase.

It means any photographer can then trade at a large number of public locations around the world, or at one of Smiler’s partner venues. It now has more than 9,000 photographers on its books.

We helped with a full rebrand including a new brand strategy, visual identity, app re-design and brand photography.

### Notorious Nooch Co.
With the rise of the vegan lifestyle movement, and more and more people opting for the dairy-free diet, it seemed high time that nutritional yeast had the glow-up it deserves.
We decided to challenge ourselves to give it its moment and bring it back into the spotlight by developing our own company – Notorious Nooch.
The Notorious Nooch company was founded on the idea that it could become everything the existing products were not – bold, inventive, innovative and fun, reflecting the way vegan’s really used nutritional yeast in this day and age.
We built Notorious Nooch from the ground-up, developing everything from the name, brand strategy, branding, photography & digital.
By creating a highly custom Shopify Plus site that integrated completely into the fulfilment centre, we enabled the brand to really stand-out from the crowd and develop its audience with a subscription offering.
In the UK market, there was only ever one real player in the nutritional yeast market, but it’s a product that hasn’t evolved in decades.
We took this concept and turned it on its head, transforming it from a traditional vitamin supplement to a modern ingredient for vegan junk food.
We created a cool brand with a real personality and tone of voice, giving it a fun, slightly nostalgic and a little bit hippie vibe. We released two great flavours – cheese and bacon – but look forward to watching our brand grow and increasing our product offering along the way.

### Jamie Oliver: Together
The team at Penguin Random House came to us because they know we put strategy at the heart of everything we do. They wanted to utilise our strong knowledge of cultural landscape, our deep understanding of category, as well as robust consumer insights to help them build creative and imaginative brand imagery.
Focusing on the functions of food and how it can be anything you want or need it to be, we were challenged with creating a campaign for the book that celebrates the art of cooking and how it can help nourish, heal, entertain, surprise and comfort one another and, above all, is the greatest way of bringing the people you love together.

### Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra
Approaching its 25th anniversary, the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra were looking for a partner to support them in their rejuvenation project, including the redesign and consolidation of their brand and a new website.
The purpose of the project was to help revive the Orchestra’s branding, bringing it in line with a modern audience, while also communicating their brand positioning. In doing so, the aim was to increase sales and donations and brand awareness, while also improving their online presence.

Every day, boutique B&Bs, spas and 5-star hotels such as The Ned, The Savoy, The Dorchester, The Connaught, Claridges, The Lanesborough and the Nobu Ibiza choose Tradelinens – a highly regarded, ethical and established supplier of bed, bath and table linens boasting over 30 years experience.
But what happens when the hotel guests loved their night’s sleep so much they want to buy it for themselves? Whilst Tradelinens was already well-loved in hospitality, we were tasked to create a completely fresh brand that would be able to inspire at-home interior designers and industry insiders alike.

Tielle Love Luxury was born on the idea that the world’s finest hotels won’t settle for anything less than the best, so why should you.
So we helped Tradelinen create ‘Tielle’ an identity that reflected the same level of luxury, quality and style that you find in hotels for those who want it at home.
We’ve been a creative partner with Tielle Love Luxury since day one, not just creating their brand, content and tone of voice but also helping them to define how they do it with a best-in-class e-commerce presence that’s already driven over a £1M+ of new product sales.
