For what projects/services did your company hire WhizzBridge, and what were your goals?

Our website was created over five years ago and needs a major overhaul. We don’t have enough in-house developers to change our interface to the new React frontend, so we hired from WhizzBridge to help design and build the new React interface.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched online and after some interviews, we chose this vendor based on their ability to complete our requirements.

We had a kick-off meeting to discuss our goals and objectives to change to the React interface. From there, we delivered mock-ups and wireframes for our site a piece at a time. After a few iterations, this team has designed and developed a great beginning React site.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We are using one employee who is our major React developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching our new site, we saw a lot happier base of Users.

We had weekly stand-ups with their employee as well as communication through Slack.

Their employee has been top-notch.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None that I can think of at this time.

The project is an ongoing online platform that services teachers and students across the USA

We define the open position and its responsibilities. We are usually looking for senor engineers so not much changes to this detail. Whizzbridge then shortlists candidates and we go back and forth until they meet our expectations.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

The engineers fit in as part of the team. Integrated much like our in house engineers, with the exception that the hours are off. But the engineers do try to work similar hours as much as possible. Some of their engineers are exceptional. Asking questions and diving into projects with passion and commitment to excellence.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They are integrated much like a normal in house employee.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are willing to stick it out and keep looking for engineers that match our strict expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Have more highly qualified engineers. We have to go through several rounds to find someone with the correct skills.

We searched online for wen developer and choose whizzbridge.com based on the presentation and the promises.

project never completed.

project agree to be complete in 15 days, it took more than 45 days to complete. only unnecessary code has been removed, no update for the old code has been done. and the broken code still not function and give errors.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

they give you webpages with broken links and content not showing!!! even the html code got messed up by them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Everything in the presentation wasn't true. They don't know anything about the skills they claimed they do.

Company Responses

The service provider responded on January 30, 2023.

It is unfortunate that the client was not happy with our service. Below are the findings of our thorough investigation into this matter which should give readers a complete understanding of the events.

1. It was a simple website development project for a Document Translation Agency. However, the first challenge was to get the content, sitemap, and pictures finalized with the client since they changed their mind about the website structure and layout thrice during the project, causing delays.
2. A week after project completion, we were asked to work on the following out-of-scope items
   1. There were parts of the code that the client believed was “unused and outdated” and asked to be removed.
   2. Response: Since the template was purchased by the client from somewhere else, we couldn't go through it and figure out which lines of code are being used and where to be able to remove any part of the code. We cannot risk eliminating code that looked “unused and outdated” since it could potentially affect areas of the website theme (borders, padding, colors, icons, etc.) that we have not worked on.
3. Mr. Ahmed believed some parts of the code were broken and should be fixed.
   1. Response: The code referred to as “broken” was merely not appropriately indented and did not imply on the website or its functionality. Hence, it was not fair that we studied and updated the whole code in the provided template. It would cost us a lot of time and effort and would have no practical value.

Upon our refusal to accept these items, we were threatened with a bad review which can be seen above. We still believe we should have done better at managing expectations, outlining client dependencies (website content, pictures, etc.), and explaining the deliverables.
