We started working with White Digital a few months ago and we're still working together. Our main goal was to redesign our website using the Next.js framework and to develop some back-end tools. We needed a company that could handle design, front-end, and back-end development simultaneously.

White Digital gave us a clear proposal and explained exactly what working together would look like, and everything happened as planned. Our project team includes one designer and two developers. They all get along well, which really helps make the work go smoothly and quickly.

They delivered a well-designed project in Figma, complete with smart UI/UX tips, and they quickly took our feedback into account. The design was a perfect mix of creativity, discipline, and marketing smarts. The development process was fast and went as expected. They used ClickUp for task management, which made it easy for us to talk to the developers about plans and progress. The code they wrote was clean and easy to read.

We are satisfied with the results and how we've been working with the guys. We plan to keep working with them on developing a mobile app.

• create a description of the users and their needs, key features, processes and parameters
• create a prototype of user interface 
• get a feedback from focus group of potential customers 
• create an architecture and technical description (front/back end) 
• develop MVP 
• using back log step by step increase functionality and processing efficiency 
• develop website as admin page for mobile app
• redevelop an architecture using another DB (switch from DynamoDB to Mongo DB) 
• a lot of testing 
• a lot of showcases+feedbacks with customers and users
• now we are on the UI redesign because we have added plenty of new features and need to simplify UI to make it more intuitive and smooth

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As we work in b2b, now we have 7 companies who already use our mobile app 2 of them are market leaders in Ukraine = Top1 in their segment, and we are on the way to double this amount during next 6 months.

Most of the features and tasks (90-95%) was delivered in time, some of the tasks was delayed because of technical or legal reasons, but we always have a clear understanding of time frame, delay reason and way to speed up. This team is a well organized outsource partner, I defiantly recommend them.

White Digital helped the Unikorns team with the custom development of a 25-page website that works as a site-builder with complex layouts/ animations (Next.js as a framework) and custom content modeling in the headless CMS (Storyblok as a CMS). Key deliverables were: 

1. Pixel-perfect design-to-dev implementation 
2. Well-timed and smooth animations 
3. User-friendly CMS experience considers site-builder flexibility

We mainly communicated with the developers during the project. Project management per se (scope, client communication, client crisis resolution) was on Unikorns' Agency side.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We liked how Oleksandr from the White Digital team dived into each problem to understand it, connect the dots, and find a solution that would solve problems. Communication from developer to manager was on point and helped to understand things that were too technical for non-developers. They quickly resolved challenges, even complex ones, and offered various solutions.

Are there any areas for improvement or something White Digital could have done differently?

At some point, they could communicate solutions for a task before implementing them for the utmost transparency. In some cases, we lacked it and it ended up with additional iterations. However, I can't consider it a major issue, and the overall project delivery was not impacted much.

White Digital's communication was excellent throughout the process. We had virtual meetings. They finished on a very tight deadline. Communication was excellent throughout the process. 

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

It was particularly nice working with a shop that could do everything in-house, including UI/UX, development, QC, as well as having a dedicated project manager. Looking forward to working with them again in the future.

I can't think of anything for White Digital to improve.
