I am a Windows Administrator for a network security company who was put in charge of finding a company who would help bring us a larger web presence and bring traffic to our website.

For what projects/services did your company hire WebStuffGuy.com?

We we're seeking a company who could take our old, stagnant website which was built in 2014, and give us a fresh new, updated look. We also needed help with our Internet marketing to bring us back to the forefront of our industry and compete with the top companies in our area.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals were to take all of the content from our old website and migrate it onto a new site, with a new look. We wanted to partner with a web design firm who we could work with for years to come and not just a one-time service.

How did you select this vendor?

A colleague of mine was familiar with a company who his wife hired to build a website for her startup. We also prospected 2 other companies as I was required to interview at least 3 companies. After carefully reviewing and consulting with the 3 firms, I immediately felt a comfort with webstuffguy.com. They were even willing to come to our office for a consultation, where as the other 2 companies would not allow it.

The first phase was to go over several looks based on some website we admired. Once we settled for a look, we moved onto the next phase of starting the build out of the index page to make sure we were happy with the overall look thus far. About a month after that, the website was complete and we immediately shifted onto the SEO services this company provided, which is still ongoing.

What was the team composition?

We dealt directly with Ish Laos, the owner the entire time, which was very refreshing. He pretty much took care of everything, even technical things such as the hosting and email set up for our company.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

While the website was completed on time as promised, we shifted to the internet marketing portion of the project where we were in desperate help to move us up the chains on Google. In just a few short months, we've noticed an increase in calls, traffic and ranking for our website. We were, and continue to be very impressed.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Ish was very patient with us, as we had a few members of our staff communicating with him and at times, sent him mixed objectives. The communication overall was unlike anything we've experienced. They replied quickly (still do) to our calls or emails.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are knowledgeable about what they do. We asked all 3 companies some very tough questions during the hiring process, and webstuffguy made us feel the most comfortable, where as the other 2 companies were caught a bit off-guard. It just seemed like webstuffguy had a firm command of all the objectives.

Are there any areas for improvement?

If anything, they should probably be charging a lot more money. We had a very substantial budget but ended up saving thousands when we contracted webstuffguy. Apart from that, they were, and continue to be absolutely professional and result-oriented.

There were several projects, all of which started with a conversation about my vision. I was able to show them several different ideas with them, as well as the audience I wished to target. From there, I was shown several options and given expert advice on areas that could be improved upon. Everything from color tones, wording, and user- and mobile-friendliness. They were very detailed, right down to font size and style.

We worked solely with the owner, who was very hands-on and communicative throughout.

The end result was a beautiful website that is both user- and mobile-friendly. The style reflects the tone and feel of our business and is appealing to the eye as well. We have a flawless logo that is both artistic and business-like.

Customer engagement has been non-stop thanks to the look of the brand and the SEO work. We’ve also seen an increase in sales and experienced a big increase in daily click-through rates and user engagement.

They built us numerous landing pages that started getting ranked. They ran our pay per click campaigns (and still do) and they manage our main website to this day.

We communicated only through one person only which was very convenient. Through him we are able to get anything we need accomplished.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We certainly wouldn't still be using webstuffguy.com after 7 years if they weren't producing. Over 30% of our business comes from online traffic and they are a big reason for that.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Anytime we need anything done, even upon short notice, we can always depend on them to give us realistic timelines and always deliver when they say they will.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their ability to always communicate and be available when we need them. They are always a phone call or email away.
