On my website I have a store selling vintage and rare tarot. I also design and sell my own tarot cards. I have been buying and selling tarot for 25 years, and have had this company, The LilyStone Quarry, for two.

We had a major product launch coming up, and the website was very sad looking, having been the product of many generations of websites I built myself beginning in 2013. I asked Bilal to completely redesign the site, making it more usable and more beautiful.

I found Bilal through Upwork, which is how I like to manage my services. I liked his experience with Wordpress, and I was especially encouraged by his portfolio.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Bilal moved 1,000 pages into my new website, did it in four weeks, we are experiencing very few hiccups, and it is beautiful.

The team is careful to assess the amount of work and time and to communicate as changes take place. He is calm and easy to deal with as issues arise. He likes his clients to use Loom, a screen and audio recording tool, to communicate complex ideas, a unique approach I found extremely useful. Bilal is also remarkably fast to produce work product, and always responds to communications in a timely manner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Bilal is remarkably responsive. I submit change requests, and he makes changes rapidly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I don't know... I am very satisfied.

Both of the main projects were delivered on time and on budget.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We held weekly calls as well as daily updates, if required.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Customer service. They work your hours and respond quickly to requests.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I found it better when we provided creative direction and content, although we never engaged them specifically for these services. That said, we were generally happier with our own design work (where WSP did the coding) than when we left it to them. Really not a mark against them, but that's how we saw it. They remain in our stable of select providers, so that says something.
