We hired WebSenor Private Limited to provide website development services for our company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our website was completely custom based, and we asked WebSenor Private Limited to develop the website from scratch with their handwritten codes. We initially used PHP technology for the website but later migrated to Angular JS.

Currently, we're migrating our servers to Amazon AWS, so the website is currently down. They also develop a mobile application for us in iOS and Android versions.

We've worked with about five people from their team, including Shubham (CEO), their team leader, and their internal support staff.

We met them after a Google search of web development vendors. Their portfolio was wide on a successful project they had done earlier, so we chose them to develop our website because of their proven track record.

We needed an inhouse app (Kiosk) to help with sales in stores that carry our brand. it was not supposed to be an e-commerce app, but needed to carry all SKU's and present the brand's general image

I searched online through Freelancer.com and found this vendor, who seemed to be experienced in this field. after a chat with them they convinced me that their experience in the field could be an asset to help build the app and expand on it in the near future.

I don't know what software was used to build the app. I sent a diagram that best describes the project. I also sent all relative images, and attributes. they helped build the barcodes for our collection. after a lot of back and forth, testing and modifying the app was ready.

I only worked with one person. He delegated the work to his team

The app was done within the budget we set from the start. We have had great feedback from the sales staff on the app. it is easy to use, with clear steps to follow. (this is not a commercial app. it is for internal use)

The communication was mainly through chat on the website. we eventually started calling each other when needed. The time difference was an obstacle and it contributed to some delays in delivery.

They tried hard to go around any technical hurdles, challenges, and even with plug-ins or programming.

They can improve their communication to make up for time zone differences, so clients don't feel ignored or neglected

Their project management is good enough — sometimes they meet deadlines, but sometimes they don't. We communicate via email and phone calls, and they report their work to us every week.

I’m the owner of CraftShades, a manufacturing, trading, and exporting company of leather bags, diaries, and journals.

We had an existing website but needed to make it better.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I contacted WebSenor for Google Analytics. After that, they created my website and started promotions. They suggested ways for me to have better contact with customers and get more conversions. We don’t have an e-commerce website or a payment gateway. We take at least 50 orders per piece on our website. Customers visit the website and send me inquiries about the products. If they have any questions, they call me, and we can customize any item.

They helped me with Instagram, email marketing solutions, and SEO solutions. They regularly consult with my low-budget marketing experts. I didn’t have a large budget to show the products on the website. They put my products on various marketplaces. Every day, I sell approximately 100 pieces, which is really good for me.

We had a developer but we weren’t satisfied with what we were receiving. We wanted to create a website, and I started to look for a company. WebSenor was the top result, so I felt confident that they could help me.

In terms of website development and digital and social media marketing, we don’t have a specific budget. At the beginning, they gave me a plan of what we needed to do. I initially paid $95,000. After that, they built a team, and I paid approximately $10,000–$12,000 for additional work.

We started working together in May or June 2016.

They have done good work. Before the consultancy, we were a white-label manufacturer making core products but selling them with a margin of $1. Although we were selling a fair quantity—25–30 products per day—it wasn’t great. Today, we have a great margin of $5–$10.

After the development and marketing, we have connected with manufacturers. In the last month, we sold approximately 3,000 products. They created well-known branding for me, and now other manufacturers who take my products and resell them will convey that branding. We’re now available in the U.S., the U.K., and Australia. I own 7 factories in India and a training center.

How did WebSenor InfoTech perform from a project management standpoint?

I’m totally satisfied with their work. The project has no deadline, as the pages I do are similar. I’m regularly in touch with them. Almost every day, I send them a task, and they do the work. I can definitely say that they are my remote team. Both the management and the other people who are in touch with me are excellent. I can call them at any time, no matter what.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They offer great quality, reliable services, and a solid infrastructure. But, their website doesn’t show how large their company is or how it works. If they had mentioned these details on the website, I would have been interested immediately.

Websonor was selected based on cold calling many developers and the feedback from some of their old clients. We also went through some of the work they have previously done. The fact that they were reasonably priced without any compromise in quality for what they were offering was one of the key deciding factors.

The team at Websonor showcased 3 models for our initial launch, after having multiple brainstorming sessions we finalized one theme and Websonor stated working on it. We never thought that the work was being done outside our organization and it was a fluid process.

the communication between the teams was flawless, in fact we always thought Websonor was a part of the extended team. They never complained over last moment changes and were prompt in their delivery.
