What was the scope of their involvement?

We hire Webland Global to help us build a learning management system (LMS) from scratch. The solution will act as a connection among parents, students, teachers, and the administration. We started the engagement by providing the team with a brief and conducting several meetings to discuss what we wanted to achieve.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve successfully built the first platform, and we’re still working with Webland Global to build the second one. The collaboration has been great, thanks to Webland Global’s strong understanding of our goals and vision for the project.

Webland Global has performed well in terms of project management. They meet most deadlines and always work within budgets.

I’m the owner of C2C and we’re an express delivery company. We connect couriers to clients and make same-day deliveries. Our couriers use a platform where they can see available orders and additional information on the orders.

What challenge were you trying to address with webland.design agency?

We needed someone to design and develop our website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

webland.design.agency designed and developed our website from A to Z. they did everything starting from the description of the website, all the way to the development. We used Figma to provide comments and make changes to the build.

We worked on this project for eight months, and we developed the website and application at the same time.

What is the team composition?

The number of people we worked with changed between design and development, but in general, we worked with around 10–12 people.

How did you come to work with webland.design agency?

A personal connection knew the owner of webland and they recommended me to them. I contacted the owner and explained my idea for the website — he showed interest, and took on the project.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent somewhere between €20,000–€25,000 (approximately $24,100–$30,100 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from April–November 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We experienced some technical problems with the website, but the project manager who was assigned to me was very good. I was in contact with them and they were very communicative throughout. As we were getting some orders, they fixed the website and all its problems — now, we don’t see as many problems as before, and everything is fine.

We’re now working on a second project together and personally, I trust them because of the good work they did on this first project. I’m not really a person who understands technical development stuff, but they do a really good job of explaining specific points about the development so I can understand.

How did webland.design agency perform from a project management standpoint?

Initially, they were good at following requirements and delivering their tasks on time. However, since I developed a personal relationship with them, we stopped discussing deadlines, but they still delivered the work as fast as they could.

We usually talked around 2–3 times a week. They weren’t even late in replying, and were good at answering our questions clearly and quickly.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I really liked our working relationship, because the most important thing for me is good communication. I needed someone who can talk to me especially when it concerns the development process, since I don’t have extensive knowledge when it comes to that.

I was very happy I could communicate with them any time and discuss anything. I liked how they put the explanation in layman’s terms so I can better understand the development process.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I really don’t see anything they need to change. I was very satisfied with their work.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to just tell them your ideas directly, and they will be able to translate them into a website. I think they’re a very good company, especially with the way they work.

A client of ours has a lot of shipments with more than 3,000 drivers and trucks. We needed someone to develop a website to help with the registry of drivers with trucks.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

In the beginning, we gave webland.design agency an idea of what we wanted. We worked with them, and they provided the technical documentation for this project. After we saw that their design was good, we made some website landing pages with them. They documented the type and the parameters of the trucks. If the truckers’ documents are okay, they can put their interest in to drive a particular shipment.

What is the team composition?

There were five programmers, a project manager, and a designer.

How did you come to work with webland.design agency?

Our friends had worked with them and were happy with them. We chose them out of three other companies. Their prices and communication were good.

We invested over $50,000.

Our engagement was from June 2015–August 2020.

They’re one of the best companies that I’ve worked with. There were a few times there wasn’t very good planning but most of it was really good. I really like their designs.

webland.design agency is a young company and not very big. They carefully worked with all of our clients and this was good for us.

I’m a product manager at RentRide. We focus on rent services on a peer-to-peer model. People can rent cars that are owned by others.

What challenge were you trying to address with webland.design agency?

Recently, we had a collaboration with Porsche Russland. We needed a company that would help us build an app for this collaboration.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Since we were working with Porsche, we needed perfect, good-looking work. We needed great designs because people who want to buy a Porsche want to see something outstanding.

We started with a design layout. After they worked on the layout, we really liked them, and it turned out that they could also help us out with frontend development. After that, we agreed on a bigger scope of work.

They worked with our programmers that were responsible for the backend development. After the design layouts were ready, their team was responsible for the frontend.

The app was developed for both iOS and Android. The website is more like a landing page, which refers clients to install the app.

We worked with five or six people. There were people in sales, developers, and UX designers.

We’ve spent around $28,000.

We started working with them in May 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The team at webland.design agency performed as a very successful and professional team. We originally planned to release the app in the fall, but it was hard because of the agreements we had with Porsche. We needed to fix some things, and there were some add-ons to the main scope. We’re continuing to work with their team.

We had around 15,000 installs for iOS and Android in the first two months on the market. We think those are really great numbers.

The team did a great job, testing everything meticulously. It wasn’t that easy in the beginning because we had two teams, but we successfully managed to work it out. After those three weeks, everything turned out to be really great.

How did webland.design agency perform from a project management standpoint?

I want to highlight their approach to project management.

As I mentioned, it was hard for us to connect in the beginning. They persuaded us that daily phone calls would be a good idea, and to be honest, our programming team was against it.

Finally, we did try it, and it really worked. After two or three weeks, we moved those daily calls to weekly calls. The work went on, so the decision to do that was right. We used tools like Slack, Zoom, and Figma.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their flexible approach was impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I think they’re really good. They will be even better with new projects.

I definitely recommend them.

I’m the IT lead of GNS, based in Moscow, Russia. We provide oilfield services such as managed-pressure drilling, load testing, and pipeline services, and we provide oilfield equipment.

webland.design agency designed and developed our new website from scratch. The website is in Russian, and it serves as the company’s business card. We don’t sell services through it.

There were four people on the team: Alexey (Founder & CEO), who was the project manager, along with a designer, and one frontend and one backend developer.

We vetted multiple companies, but webland.design agency offered the best design concept.

I’m the CEO of iWALY. We are an IT company that focuses on doing business through our application. iWALY (I Will Always Love You) is a marketplace where people can put notices out to receive care for their relatives, and caregivers can respond.

What was the scope of their involvement?

webland.design agency developed an MVP of the application. They built both an iOS and Android version as well as a web-based platform. They also did work on our landing page.

There were 7-10 people on the team, including project managers, designers, and programmers. I worked closely with Alexey (Creator & CEO) and three others.

They were referred to us by another company.

We worked together from November 2019–February 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We don’t have feedback from customers yet, as the majority of the work wrapped up last week. The feedback we’ve received from those who have seen it and looked at their code is that it's high quality.

webland.design agency fixed the issues that were found, and the application is working well. I feel extremely positive about the team and their work, and will be looking to hire them again when we are ready to implement new features.

The project managers dove deep into the project, always ready to provide their points of view. They were available, making it easy to reach out and ask questions. We used Jira, Figma, Firebase, and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were committed, going beyond the minimum requirements. They gave input and suggestions for improvements, which was important to me.
