The yearly cost is $10,000 to $50,000, depending on the kind of work that we do.

We've been with them for almost a year [since 2015]. We have no plans to stop the work whatsoever.

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

In the past few months, we've notices a significant increase in our core website traffic. So far, 2015 has been the biggest year for the company in its 23 years of activity, which is due in large amount to the calls that we're getting. The company has been growing, and WebpageFX has been a big part of that. The money we're giving them has been a good investment.

Our web traffic has increased by about 75 percent. We've had 1.5 million more hits in 2015 vs. 2014. We have a big referral and repeat customer base, but Internet and online marketing is definitely competing right next to it as one of the top three ways to bring in business. WebpageFX have put in a lot of effort, and I've worked directly with their marketer.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They've done nothing but increase our online traffic. Jason [Ruhl], our internal marketer, almost gives the feeling that he works for our company. I have nothing negative to say about them in terms of SEO or PPC. The other companies weren't very responsive and made me doubt their effectiveness.

What distinguishes WebpageFX from other providers?

The responsiveness and personal attention they offer is amazing. When Jason, our internet marketer, was assigned to us, he made a two-to-three-hour trip to meet us personally. We talked about goals, where we wanted to be, our strategy for 2015, and so on. It showed that they really do care about our business. Even though we are just a client to them, sometimes I forget that.

If we contact Jason through phone or email, he responds right away, and, even when I need help with the website, he will try to figure it out for us and not charge us extra. He simply is there. That personal attention shows that they really care about our business.

Is there anything WebpageFX could have improved or done differently?

There really isn't anything. I have had no problems or complaints and look forward to seeing where we'll be a year from now.

The overall cost is hard to estimate. We use WebpageFX for both residential and commercial security, and our leads vary greatly in terms of pricing. For example, a lead may consist of a retired couple paying a $29.99 a month rate while another could be for a corporation paying upward of $2,000 per month.

The work is ongoing. I plan to keep collaborating with them remotely in the future. We've been working together for eight months.

We've gotten a greater number of good quality leads since working with WebpageFX. Before, we used to get roughly the same numbers, but more than half of them did not close. Now, we make appointments for more than 90 percent of our leads. It's a rare occurrence to get a lower quality one from which we don't make money.

They're amazing to work with – very relatable and friendly. WebpageFX work around my schedule as much as needed. I plan on doing contracting work for another company that will also be using them. I don't like the big corporation feel of larger companies. You don't get that with them. They allocate their time to you and offer personalization. The person I work with has dozens of other clients, but always has the time to work with me if I need help.

Working with WebFX has helped us be successful. An example of their positive impact is the drastic increase in organic site visits we’ve reached. When we first began working with WebFX, we only had 400 organic visits, and that number has since increased to 10,000, which is valuable to us.

How did WebFX perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team uses Basecamp to keep track of the project and house all documentation. I’m easily able to upload templates or graphics for WebFX to use. They have a checklist to make sure they’re hitting timelines and accomplishing the right tasks. When they anticipate needing to extend a deadline, they’re very transparent and communicative. If we have suggestions, they give us their honest input about whether or not our budget would allow it.

We have monthly calls with their team. The meetings focus on our previous month’s traffic and future updates they'll be making to the plan.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their insightful team help us realize our goals and find effective ways to track our progress. Some metrics are hard to measure, so they’ve helped us put our goals into perspective and better understand how it will look.

Because there are limitations with a WordPress template, their graphics support hasn’t been as great as we would’ve liked.
