BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and position.
I am the Product Manager of Waya Technology
Describe what your company does in a single sentence.
Waya is a digital disruptor in the FinTech and financial operations arena. We provide fully integrated invoice2cash services and BPO including our own debt collection. Fully cloud based high tech and operation to ensure compliance for all industries. We pride ourself to deliver improved working capital, improved end customer support and lover cost for invoice and payments administration for our + 5000 customers.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire Web Tonic to accomplish?
We were doing fine with organic channels and referrals, but fine wasn't enough anymore. Waya has been growing steadily, and we knew there was a much bigger audience out there who could benefit from our invoice2cash platform and debt collection services. The problem was reaching them. Finance directors and CFOs don't browse social media looking for accounts receivable solutions.
They search when they have a problem, and we weren't showing up when that happened. Our internal attempts at paid advertising were inconsistent at best. We had tried running some campaigns ourselves, but results were all over the place and we couldn't figure out why. Web Tonic came in to solve that gap and build something predictable that would consistently bring qualified prospects into our pipeline.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
Web Tonic took everything we had been doing and rebuilt it properly. They started by sitting down with us to really understand our customer base and what makes them tick. Not just job titles, but actual pain points. Late payments, inefficient collections, poor customer experiences around invoicing. They mapped those pain points to search behaviour and built campaigns around specific problems rather than generic keywords.
For our invoice2cash service, they targeted finance teams looking to automate manual processes. For debt collection, they focused on companies struggling with overdue accounts. Their team wrote different ad copy for each audience, making sure the messaging matched what each buyer cared about most. They also designed separate landing pages for different service lines, each one speaking directly to that specific need.
Beyond the initial build, they managed ongoing optimisation including bid adjustments, budget reallocation, and continuous testing on headlines and descriptions. We received regular reports that broke down exactly where our spend was going and what we were getting in return.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Lead flow became more predictable and consistent. We started seeing enquiries come through from companies we had never reached before, including some larger organisations that had been on our radar for months. Our sales team noticed that people coming from paid ads were already educated about our platform and further along in their decision process. They asked better questions and moved through the sales cycle faster.
Conversion rates on our landing pages climbed as campaigns matured and targeting became more precise. We also tracked better engagement across our ad content, with more people spending time on our solution pages and requesting product demos.
The cost picture improved too, with each lead becoming less expensive to acquire as we refined our approach. Our internal team felt relieved to have a reliable channel that we could scale when needed and dial back when we wanted to focus elsewhere.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Web Tonic kept things moving without creating extra work for us. Campaigns launched when they said they would, reports arrived on schedule, and their team was responsive whenever we reached out. They understood that we're busy people with full plates, so they minimised unnecessary meetings and got straight to what mattered. When we had feedback or spotted something that needed adjustment, they handled it quickly and kept us informed throughout.
Their project leads were organised and always came prepared with data to back up their suggestions. We never felt like we were managing them; they managed themselves and simply kept us in the loop. Communication felt easy and natural, which made the whole engagement run smoothly.
What was your primary form of communication with Web Tonic?
Virtual Meeting
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their willingness to learn a complex industry really impressed me. FinTech is not straightforward, and our specific niche around invoice2cash and debt collection is even more niche. They didn't pretend to know everything upfront. They asked good questions, listened carefully, and genuinely worked to understand what we do before crafting their approach. That showed in their campaign work.
Another thing that stood out was their transparency around performance. They never tried to dress up mediocre results or hide underperforming campaigns. They showed us everything, good and bad, and explained what they were doing to improve. That honesty built real trust over time.
We also appreciated their pragmatic approach. They didn't push fancy tactics or trendy channels just for show. They focused on what would actually work for our business and delivered solid results.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Web Tonic could have done differently?
Their understanding of our B2B space was strong, but developing more industry specific assets would have added extra punch to our campaigns. More content speaking directly to our target industries, like manufacturing, logistics, or professional services, would have given us even better engagement from those segments. We also think their initial research phase could have included more direct conversations with our customer facing team.Β
