The scope of work included designing the user interface and fully implementing the tool with technologies like React, TypeScript, PHP, MySQL, and Nginx. The project involved several phases: initially, we developed mockups in Figma, tailored to meet our clients' needs. Then, the development team created a dedicated solution enabling dynamic survey creation, automated communication with respondents, and generating detailed reports in PDF format. Thanks to this tool, we could eliminate reliance on other platforms, such as Excel, significantly simplifying our processes.

We began our partnership with designing website mockups. After disscusion and mutual improvements, we began development phase. Website uses wordpress and we have been well introduced to the administration panel by WeAstronauts team. An important step during the project, was the integration with the offer management service called Asari.

Our business goal was to make our hardware products (sensors and controllers) IoT capable. On our own we were able to transfer data over REST API, WebSockets or MQTT but that was the end of our competence. The scope of work for WeAstronauts started with the assessment of the best cloud platform which allows us to deliver IoT Dashboard supported by reliable Backend and in the same time the costs of infrastructure will be reliable and predictable in the meaning of future system scale.

After choosing Amazon Web Services the scope focused on DedvOps and Architecture including databases for users and timeseries data, backups, infrastructure as a code and much more. The second part was software development on both sides implementation the backend and the frontend. Finally deployment and best QA and software delivery practices helped us with releasing updates on production with no issues.

We were on weekly basis communication on the scheduled meetings and we did ad-hoc calls in case of any urgency or concerns regarding to the project. Work with them was not typical as we order the software but rather like team and management augmentation. They allow us to explain the big picture in detail and propose better solutions plenty of times, even if we are unaware of those capabilities.

The company began by designing website mockups in Adobe XD. After preparing the first version, I sent my comments and the company quickly implemented them into the design. Once the set of mock-ups was approved, both websites were implemented as separate WordPress installations. Gutenberg was used as the content editor with a proprietary template, which gave the websites a speed boost.

In order to effectively assist the gatekeepers, a combination of knowledge and support provided by real people, as well as an online platform is necessary. The platform should serve as a hub for conducting, storing, and reviewing research on new clients. It should consist of multiple components with a central questionnaire, which is a survey tool that can adapt to changing questions and ranking criteria.

Additionally, the platform must be able to adapt to future changes in laws and regulations, as the expectations for it will continue to increase. It should be able to evolve and grow with changing laws and regulations, sometimes by incorporating new questions and sometimes by adding new features.

WeAstronauts Software was chosen to implement the software because of its understanding of the needs, selection of appropriate technologies and efficient communication during specification building.

Together with WeAstronauts Software, we completed the technical specification for the project. Together with my consultation, a complete graphic design of the system was prepared. The programming work was carried out in 2-week sprints. For design issues, we used Slack as a communication channel.

The project was done in PHP 8, Laravel, React.js, Laravel. CI/CD tools in the form of Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana were used.

The project was delivered on time, having completed the last of the agreed 12 sprints. The company provided post-implementation support in the form of application installation and maintenance tools. The application is continuously developed based on new guidelines that are constantly emerging.
