I am the co-founder of science oriented home decor ecommerce. We concentrate on popularizing science through our product offering.

Our business grew and was in need of strategic brand consultancy and brand creation. The difficult part was finding a way to position the brand as home decor and popularizer of science at the same time without making it too heavy in either direction.

Our work started with workshops. We were asked about our business, plans for the future and our offer, our expectations and goals. After a while Visual71 presented the effect of their work including naturally new graphical elements, like logo, fonts and example of copy to illustrate the tone for all our external communication.

We discussed the deliverables and agreed to cover one more marketing angle which was delivered promptly.

We instantly changed our entire branding with the materials provided by Visual71. We increased conversions from our returning customers thanks to the way we handled every order, as suggested by Visual71.

Our website was created a long time ago. Currently, we work with bands and music labels all over the world. We needed a simple, elegant, modern, and entertaining website which corresponds visually with our productions.

Our main goal was to create a universal and legible website that shows only the best and the latest projects. We needed a complex and high-quality service, including not only design but consultancy as well. We decided to refresh the whole brand look: logo, naming, identity design.

Visual71 convinced us from the beginning by showing us the logo and brand identity draft. We knew this is the right decision and direction which we should follow.

We started with the logo and identity. Also, we picked the best productions we want to show on the website. They came out with an idea of balancing and demonstrating the wide range of services we offer.

They convinced us to design only the English version of the website and completely redesign and simplify the naming.

We received very positive feedback from our customers and co-workers.

We had to work in the middle of the first covid lockdown in Poland. We managed everything by e-mail and zoom-calls. It was an easy and smooth workflow.

The most impressive were great designs, surprising ideas, professionalism, and uncomplicated cooperation.

We are very happy with the process and the final result.

We had an outdated, unattractive website and also needed to general marketing services.

They ended up completely rebranding our look and feel, changing everything except for our logo. In addition to their graphic design help, we were getting strategic consultations from thought leaders in the industry.

They did a deep dive into our vertices, demographics, and prospective clients, advising us on how to best approach modern marketing and branding. Most recently, we launched a newsletter to keep our clients up to date on our company. We plan to continue engaging with them on future projects.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their work brought us into the modern world. We’re seeing increases in traffic and engagement rate on our site. Our customers are looking at our content for longer periods of time, so they’re doing a terrific job of getting us eyeballs online. We want our material to spread far and while, and they enabled that by creating a newsletter that reached over 200 people in its first issue. 

How did Visual71 perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team has been incredibly responsive to our needs. I appreciate our timezone difference because they’re able to address issues overnight. When I wake up, the problem is either fixed or we’ll hop on a call to discuss the matter further. They’ve been more responsive to us than most companies we’ve worked with.

They’re super professional and sophisticated. Their team provides the perfect combination of top-of-the-line corporate experience and an entrepreneurial understanding. Without dropping the ball at any point, they deliver us the same strategic advice and recommendations that they would to a major brand. They’ve been patient with us, showing commitment to success and coming in exactly on budget.

Their team brings major advertising brand experience to the grassroots entrepreneur in a kind, authoritative, strategic way. The team is all aligned on issues, and they’re supporting us well. They haven’t made a promise they can’t keep.

No, they’ve been excellent in every regard.

Trust their team and process. They’re able to anticipate potential pitfalls before we can because of their experience. If you trust them, you’ll get where you’re going.

The cooperation began with examining our needs and a series of workshop meetings in which we worked together to define our goals and priorities. Visual71 consultants tried to get to know our business and challenges in the best possible way. The next stages were mocking up individual projects of the pages, verifying whether we are going in the right direction and cooperation on the final graphics.

I was most impressed by the sense of style and aesthetics combined with substantive business thinking. I felt that I was dealing with competent and advanced experts.

I’m the founder and CEO of Onely.com. We’re a technical SEO agency from Poland, and we mainly work with large and medium e-commerce brands from the US.

We were splitting from another company and needed to both rebrand and build a new website from scratch.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We developed the website, and Visual71 handled the design work. 

At the beginning of the project, we met with them for a few hours to discuss our business, clients, and other relevant information. The team laid out some logos for us to choose from, and once we’d agreed, they designed the full layout of the website.

Visual71 produced everything related to our visual identity, including a new logo and business cards.

We first found Visual71 about six or seven years ago on a recommendation. We knew the scope of their work was impressive, so we reached out.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We didn’t have any specific metrics for the project, but the Visual71 team always produced deliverables on time, and we’re happy with the website they created. 

The collaboration was very successful, and we’d work with Visual71 again given the opportunity.

How did Visual71 perform from a project management standpoint?

Visual71 kept our strict deadline in mind throughout the project, doing everything in their power to finish on time. That quality is unique in the web design space.

All of their correspondence was extremely streamlined. The team kept us in the loop throughout every stage of the project, and asked us a wide range of questions before moving forward with any design portion.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Przemek, in particular, was very knowledgeable about design trends. His keen visual sense was always able to steer us away from clichés or overused themes. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think so. The only thing that would be nice to have is more availability. They're usually booked quite long in advance, though that speaks to the quality of their work.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I’d advise their clients to save a little bit of time for the collaboration. They need a lot of in-depth knowledge and information.

Visual71 designed a website for us. They started by asking me a serious of questions over Skype and brought me 2–3 drafts of designs. Once I landed on one, they built it from there. Their team took care of wireframes and mockups and updated my font, color scheme, and branding. Visual71 did some backend development as well.

I work with one point person, who deals with all of the conversations and alterations, but we work with a team of three from Visual71.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’m completely happy. The language barrier and the time difference were never an issue. The website progress got stalled due to something on our end and they were incredibly patient. Their team was very polite, which is something I’m grateful for. Their team offered to set up Google Analytics for the site, which might help us better understand the balance of things. I really like the end result.

How did Visual71 perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team used InVision to send us updated designs. Our teams also used Skype for conference calls. Their project management was great.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication was great. Visual71 knows how to move things along in a graceful way. The design is elegant and sophisticated. Their team takes my feedback into account.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Together with Visual71, we reviewed all of our different printed materials (e.g. flyers, certificates, catalogs) and discussed which ones were necessary and how we could change them to make them more consistent with the overall feeling of our brand. They also redesigned our website because it was a bit outdated and not as cohesive as we’d have liked. They changed the colors, copy, and layout of the different pages, making them match our brand better. The website is nearly complete, with only a few small projects remaining.

I was looking for a few companies, and I wanted one that was nearby so that we could communicate easier. A friend introduced me to Visual71, so I met with them. They were extremely professional and had good past work, so I hired them.

People have given positive feedback about the site, saying it looks much better and more professional. Various metrics have also improved, showing that more people are visiting the site more often.

They’re flexible and meet our deadlines. Whenever we have questions, they answer them in a timely manner. They communicate well, and we use Slack, email, and phone calls to stay in touch. We also use InVision so that I can see and comment on their work in real time.

They listen to our needs and tailor solutions to our specific challenges. Unlike other firms, they provide various options and give us time to decide which ideas we like best.
