The project management was fantastic. The project manager did a great job coordinating between team members, keeping the project organized, and being transparent on timelines and blockers. They went above and beyond in their deliver, incorporating improvements mid project as we learned more and refined the scope of work. They maintained clear communication through regular progress updates and weekly meetings, ensuring all needs and feedback were promptly addressed. The team was responsive and collaborative throughout the project.

Their key deliverables were developing an MVP that allowed us to validate our business, then developing a full product to serve our customers, and now iterating and improving the product on an ongoing basis.

The company's CTO has a lot of experience with developing software on Bubble, they work very closely with us to understand the business instead of just taking tech requirements at face value and have the flexibility to adapt as the company's needs change.

I’m an executive at an agricultural software company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Vistapub?

We wanted to develop a custom software for one of our pilot projects.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Vistapub has done custom software development for us from scratch using Bubble as their main tool. To start the project, we've given them Figma wireframes. Regarding functionalities, the software includes contracts, messaging, and a file management system.

Currently, they're helping us to maintain and update the platform.

What is the team composition?

We've worked with around four members of their team, including developers, a product manager, and the owner.

How did you come to work with Vistapub?

We chose Vistapub because they were open to payment installments, which was important for us. In addition, they quickly got back to me when I reached out to them and seemed interested in the project that we were working on. We liked that Vistapub's team showed great enthusiasm, which appealed to me. Then after I described the project in detail, they quickly gave me a quote.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2022, and the engagement is still ongoing.

The software that Vistapub has created has helped us advance our conversations with our customers, which is the most important part of the partnership. The platform has also helped us test our most important ideas, reach our company's milestones, and demonstrate that we can build a product and iterate quickly. In addition, they quickly take care of bugs whenever they arise.

How did Vistapub perform from a project management standpoint?

Vistapub's project management and customer service have been excellent. Working with them has been very fun, and I like their team a lot. Regarding tools and communication, we use Notion, Slack, and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Vistapub's customer service is one of their biggest strengths.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I'd love more help from their end with design, but I don't know if that's something I can put on them.

They'll do a good job if you're open about your needs and spend time scoping out the project upfront.

They were able to hit our deadline, and we interacted with them 1–2 times a week to do planning and demos. For managing tasks, we used ClickUp at the beginning before shifting to Notion. For communication, we used Slack and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were extremely personable; we really enjoyed our calls with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Vistapub could’ve spent a little more time doing quality assurance. There were times when they were in such a rush to get tasks done.

Make sure to set a fixed cost or price point for each deliverable.
