We develop sports related apps and games to make sport more fun. I am the founder and CTO of the company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Visartech Inc.?

We were looking for a partner to develop our prototype to a commercial level application and distribution model. Our internal dev team worked with Visartech PMs and development team to commercial the project in an agile fashion with product ownership staying internally and most of the team being from Visartech.

What were your goals for this project?

commercial grade application that is scalable, well documented and with a future upgrade path.

How did you select Visartech Inc.?

We had a competitive bidding process with 3 organisations making the final round. Viasrtech won the bid through excellent requirements gathering process prior to the project even starting.

A sports simulation application for iOS and Android with Unity engine for the rendering of graphics.

What was the team composition?

Typical SCRUM team.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was developed in under 4 months, and then regular updates/functions were rolled out in 2-week sprints. The work is ongoing.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager communicated well, ran the stand ups (virtually) well and was able to use our experts to maximise effectiveness of project team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The questions they asked pre-start were by far superior to the other candidates.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They are growing fast and need to ensure the team does not get stretched as it is getting harder to get resources.

I am the Product lead of ExplorR. We strive to bring back the curiosity in discovery through gamification and socialising in a location based app.

We designed a game document, and we passed it over. Broken it down in to a series of tasks, then worked with them step by step to create the product.

They provided the main developer and a QA tester testing for us

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The app was polished enough to go on the app store, complicated back end but in general bug-free. We have 7000 downloaded users.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They are extremely flexible which makes it easy to change some design ideas on the go. They will give detailed updates on the work they have done.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their flexibility and communication set them apart.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I think some UI infrastructure should have been discussed earlier.
