VIKRTI Management Consulting was always on time and provided very comprehensive updates, decks and implementation plans. They were very responsive and also provided advice on other related various topics.

I’m the COO of growth for Optum Ventures.

What challenge were you trying to address with VIKRTI Management Consulting, LCC DBA VIKRITI?

We required VIKRITI’s assistance to help us with our Growth Academy and growth workshops. Our participants have very complex sales and account management jobs that require 3–4 years' worth of experience to really be effective at what they do. Therefore, we were trying to accelerate that timeframe through training so that it wouldn’t take them that long.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

As we’re leading a change management effort into growth, VIKRITI has helped us strengthen our growth organization. They’ve developed playbooks and other assets for our growth efforts, and they’ve identified different pain points we needed to address to improve our overall organic sales.

We’ve also found and improved many weaknesses across our sales and account management processes. Additionally, they helped us develop some concepts, including the Growth Academy, to raise the level of knowledge of participants so that they can do their jobs better.

As for the Growth Academy specifically, we worked closely with VIKRITI to design it, architect it, and put it together, and it is now in place. It is designed to improve sales and account management.

In general terms, VIKRITI has been focused on strategic planning, change management, and transformation work. However, I know that they also have experience in healthcare consulting, life sciences, and IT.

I’ve worked with a team of five people from VIKRITI, with Jolly (Founder & Managing Member) leading the efforts and acting as the transformational leader.

Optum was already working with VIKRITI on another project, so I became aware of their team and met them. I liked what they could do, so I invited them to join my project.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $400,000–$500,000 throughout our engagement.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around February 2017, and the relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The Growth Academy is now serving a couple of thousand people; if a couple of thousand people get better at their jobs, the impact on the organization will certainly be very powerful. As a result of this project, our sales and client retention have increased, demonstrating that we’ve had improvements in both areas we were addressing — sales and account management. As general feedback, VIKRITI is great to work with, and they’ve done a great job.

How did VIKRTI Management Consulting, LCC DBA VIKRITI perform from a project management standpoint?

VIKRITI is very project-oriented and has strong project management skills; that’s the base of their work. Therefore, they’ve done a great job for us, and I’m very pleased with their service. We communicate via email, phone calls, text messages, and video conferences.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Firstly, VIKRITI is very knowledgeable in what they do, so they do an excellent job. Secondly, their knowledge of healthcare is impressive. Thirdly, they’re very strategic and deep thinkers, making them thought leaders. When working with them, they bring those skills to the table.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be great if VIKRITI continued to increase their healthcare knowledge, as well as their knowledge of Optum, so that they could be even more valuable to us than they currently are.

If you’re considering working with them, you might find it helpful to know that they’re very knowledgeable and easy to work with, and they bring a can-do problem-solving approach to challenges.

I was the Sr. Director of Back Office Systems at an online retail company.

Our company was going to grow in size and introduce complexity. We hired VIKRITI to bring in structure that would be understood across the Technology department as well as provide well defined processes.

We interviewed a few different vendors. VIKRITI was our top choice due to experience, costing, and overall cultural fit with our company.

There were multiple phases of the project. It began by identifying current state. From there, VIKRITI interviewed leadership to understand the company direction and best determine the future state to ensure it aligned with company strategy. Next, the team worked to execute on the future state. Finally, the team led us through change management helping to craft proper, concise, and clear communication to teams.

The CEO worked directly with my team as well as 2 other individuals. One resource was on ITSM and the other was on data architecture.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It was a massive undertaking to transform with IT team and operations. The team worked to set milestones as well as ensure those targets were hit. By the end of the project, the IT team was talking the same language and fully aware of the process.

Very effective. There was complete transparency in communication, and as soon as risks were known, they were clearly communicated.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I appreciated how VIKRITI was happy to get their hands dirty with some of the messiest projects and come out with a clean, simplified solution. In addition, it truly felt that they enjoyed and had fun doing this work.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In regards to this specific project, no. They overcame challenges and always made sure to communicate approach.

Their project management style was good. They met all deadlines, stayed within budget, and worked with minimal supervision. For communication, we interact through email and online and in-person meetings.

No, they met all of our requirements and objectives.

I was the small business program manager for a healthcare research institution.

What challenge were you trying to address with VIKRTI Management Consulting, LCC DBA VIKRITI?

We needed help with business consulting. In our small business program, we were trying to get companies from phase one to phase two through funding, and we wanted to commercialize their products from there. Thus, we needed help in looking at the market needs of those companies.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

VIKRITI helped us identify the market needs of the companies we funded and figure out the best route for them to take. Their team conducted interviews, talked to various companies, gathered information, and put together some reports. They also did some research to help those companies identify strategic partners and market pain points.

During this research, VIKRITI worked for companies in different market categories, including surgical devices, therapeutics, diagnostic services, digital health, educational training and tools, biologics, small molecules, and more. Their team was instrumental in identifying how we could help all those different companies expand on their technologies and services.

The pain points VIKRITI found were regarding the funding those companies needed to conduct clinical trials, regulatory issues they had when dealing with the FDA, and the capabilities the management team of those companies had to carry out what they wanted to commercialize, among other things. In addition to the research and interviewing process, VIKRITI also provided those companies with training and different resources they could use.

What is the team composition?

We worked with three people from VIKRITI to conduct the interviews, and we had a team of 8–10 people working behind the scenes.

How did you come to work with VIKRTI Management Consulting, LCC DBA VIKRITI?

We launched a public notice, and they responded. In total, at least six vendors were chosen for follow-up interviews, and VIKRITI was the best one of those.

How much have you invested with them?

I don’t know the exact amount, but we spent around a couple of million dollars.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from September 2019–April 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The services that VIKRITI provided were very helpful, assisting the companies in looking at various options and opportunities they hadn’t thought of. They also provided those companies with resources they weren’t aware of and presented them with different connections and strategic partners they hadn’t considered. Overall, VIKRITI was very successful in doing what we asked for.

How did VIKRTI Management Consulting, LCC DBA VIKRITI perform from a project management standpoint?

VIKRITI performed very well. All of this was new to us, and we had to make some changes amidst our engagement, but they still responded very well to those changes. They were also very responsive to inquiries, phone calls, and emails. Their team used tracking devices to track information for the companies we worked with, as well as Excel spreadsheets to keep track of those companies in various forms.

What did you find most impressive about them?

VIKRITI demonstrated outstanding technical knowledge and expertise, and their team was very personable and easy to work with. We always got the feeling that we had known them for longer than we actually did, which was very comforting.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not really. Although we faced some personal challenges on both sides throughout the engagement, we always preserved a good synergy with VIKRITI, and they always stepped up when needed.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be transparent and keep it professional. They’re a good company to work with, so you won’t need to do anything special.

We were looking to gain insights on customer's use of research antibodies to better understand the market opportunities and refine our market model assumptions.

We started working with Vikriti when we won the NIH TABA award and have continued to work with them for two additional projects.

They helped to develop a survey tool for a conference, analyzed respondent data, conducted syndicated study market analysis and build a market model creating assumptions from all of the research.
