What challenge were you trying to address with Vigo?

We needed a company to translate our brand identity into a compelling, scalable web experience that would resonate with our target audience and perform well in terms of SEO.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Vigo has handled the entire web design and development process, from discovery to launching the MVP version of the site. We needed to launch a cut-down version of the website in a very short space of time. We didn't have much imagery or video to work with, as these are being created during the course of the year. The site's MVP comprises a homepage and a contact page.

We had a very strict timeline for the project that Vigo helped us create. The team has adhered to it brilliantly and held us accountable where we were required to deliver mission-critical elements. Traffic to the new website has steadily increased, and we're now delivering the second phase of the project, where we're driving organic SEO and AI optimization. The site has had an 80% month-on-month increase in unique visits, and our bounce rate is holding at about 74%.

Vigo has been brilliant to work with. We're not very experienced in projects like this, but they've been patient and able to drive the project forward, keeping us involved and engaged without overwhelming us with technical decisions. We communicate via in-person and virtual meetings.

The platform was built on Shopify+, React, and React Native technologies, aimed at delivering a seamless and efficient user experience. Which the Vigo Team certainly delivered on. The project was a huge success and our client was very pleased with the outcome.

Ever since its launch, the large membership platform has achieved remarkable success, surpassing all expectations. This extraordinary accomplishment can be largely attributed to the thoughtful and strategic design implemented during its development phase. As a result of this well-crafted approach, the platform has experienced a significant surge in its conversion rates, boasting a remarkable increase of over three times compared to its initial performance. 

The success of the platform can be attributed to several key factors. First and foremost, the user-centric design and seamless user experience have significantly contributed to higher user engagement and satisfaction. The platform's intuitive interface and easy navigation have made it effortless for users to find what they need, resulting in increased conversions and continued user loyalty. 

In addition to the excellent user experience, the work by the Vigo team, the platform's robust backend architecture, built on Shopify+, React, and React Native technologies, has played a crucial role in supporting its growing membership base. The scalable infrastructure ensures that the platform can handle increased traffic and user demands, maintaining optimal performance even during peak usage periods.

Vigo were hired to conduct a product discovery for a client on our behalf. They run a MOSCOW workshop on Miro, capturing the userstories, user journey, project epics and all key features. They delivered a findings report with the UX/UI strategy, digital development strategy, costs and timings.
