Introduce your business and what you do there.

I work at the American Society of Healthcare Engineering of the American Hospital Association. We’re a professional membership group within the AHA.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Video Parachute?

The first instance that I remember working with them was because I needed a new video created in 2018.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Video Parachute helped with scriptwriting, graphics creation, video creation, editing, and project management. They produced an animated video.

This was one of the bigger projects we've done together, but we still work with them on other things as well.

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked directly with three people.

How did you come to work with Video Parachute?

They came to me through an internal referral; one of my colleagues had worked with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent somewhere between $10,000–$25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our work together began in the fall of 2017.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We are absolutely thrilled working with them, and that’s why we’ve continued the relationship. They are always on time; in fact, they usually give us everything sooner than they say they will. Their work is always high-quality. They anticipate our needs and recommend improvements. They’re just absolutely fantastic to work with. Recently, we’ve had them working directly with some of our VIP members, and those members had good things to say about the quality of their service.

How did Video Parachute perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate mostly through email. We don’t use any project management software, but they do project manage some of these videos for us, especially for some of the recent ones where they’re working with the VIP members to schedule time to film their videos and things like that.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I just know that anytime I work on a project with them, it is going to be high-quality and delivered on time at a very reasonable cost.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not at all.

Any advice for potential customers?

Definitely just give them a try; you won’t regret it. They are so fantastic to work with.

I work for the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), and I’m the director of education. We’re a nonprofit organization that relies mainly on volunteers. We primarily work with dentists to help them treat patients with sleep apnea using a dental device.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenges were you trying to address Video Parachute?

As a result of COVID-19 stat-at-home orders, we needed to move our training sessions online.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Video Parachute filmed demonstration videos for us so that we could facilitate online training. 

Since COVID-19, they’ve done online filming for us via Zoom. We had to move a lot of our content online, but their team has been very helpful. We have three big online projects that are launching in the coming months. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with around 10 people for live filming. TW (Producer) is my main point of contact. We also worked with a teleprompter, cameraman, makeup artist, and sound people. 

How did you come to work with Video Parachute?

We found them through an online search. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested between $50,000-$100,000 from 2019–2020. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We filmed the live videos in July or August 2019, and our work is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They were able to capture the intimacy and spirit of live demonstrations and trainings. Their editing skills are also superb. They’ve been able to create a lot of life and personality. 

They’ve also been great about working with our speakers so they remain engaging for videos filmed online. They’re using Zoom and Rendezvous to accomplish this. It’s great that they’ve been able to translate their skills into this new format.  

How did Video Parachute perform from a project management standpoint?

I always get a response to my emails right away, even after hours. They're always working. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

When I spoke to other providers, I felt like their answers to my questions were very generic. However, with Video Parachute, they were excited and engaged. Their team provided lots of samples and thorough explanations of their strategies. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not that I can see. Based on their work so far, there’s nothing I would change. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers? 

No matter how poorly formulated your ideas of goals of a project are, by working with Video Parachute, your idea will grow and expand. They’ll help your vision come to life.
