I think they should have videos created pertaining to their service, all the same video in different styles instead of random videos of companies that don’t pertain to me

I have been going back and forth with this guy from explainer videos for 5 months. They basically want you to write the video and are so slow it is painful. I would not recommend these people, they waste your time.

We were looking for an experienced video production company.

There were multiple stages throughout the process that must be completed and approved before moving on to the next stage. These included script, storyboard, graphics, animation, sound, etc.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with our project manager, Jack. Jack had clear communication on when items would be returned to us and followed up with us when our responses weren't always timely.

Our video was just released yesterday. So far, we've received positive feedback.

The frequency of updates and their timeliness are impressive. They stayed on top of us to get things done.

Sometimes they were hard to understand and hard to communicate ideas effectively with (resulting in multiple iterations) but they also fixed them. We tried to get on zoom a few times but it wasnt the easiest way to communicate either.

To produce a video for multiple audience segments that explains the client's business.

How did you select Video Explainers?

I found VE on UpWork.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

I provided the script and voiceover, as well as a few ideas for the animation, and VE handled the rest. We had a few clarifications and changes to scope along the way and ended up with a bit of a longer video than we thought, and my coordinator ensured the project stayed on time and at good quality. We have a few more videos in mind and VE will be my first call.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

My coordinator communicated clearly and frequently as we refined scope and finalized the creative direction. We primarily used UpWork messages and when needed, coordinated live via Zoom.

We produced an excellent video that the client is happy with and proud to share, and which passed regulatory approval.

Very effective thanks to my coordinator's frequent communication and nearly on-demand availability.

Their speed, pricing, and ability to deliver was impressive.

Not particularly. For the price, VE is hard to beat!

Not effective in the beginning- likely due to too much creativity at their side. Eventually they let us handle the creative process and the delivery was much more smooth from there onwards.

We had the right timelines and they delivered fast turnaround

The storyboard could have more eye for detail - one issue was that we could not sent the first storyboard to our client as the quality was not up to our standards

The project was a failure. Video Explainers delivered a sub-par finished product, and the video will not be used/shared because the quality is so unacceptable.
