I am the owner of multiple makeup and entertainment agencies. My agencies provide a range of services from hair and makeup pre-event for weddings and special occasions to prosthetics transformations for specialised PR launches to in event features of entertainment through creative makeup products and services.

I needed to create a personal brand website to promote my new book, act as an umbrella for my 3 enterprises and also feature my newer services of speaking and upcoming coaching programmes

What were your goals for this project?

To build a website that was beautiful in design, easy for the user to navigate and that transitioned well between pages showcase the variety of things that I do. I also needed to move another website to another domain and set up redirects so as not to lose too much traffic.

I have been using Very Creative for the last 5 years This is the 3rd website they have built for me and each one just gets better and better!

Describe the project in detail.

I reached out initially via email to discuss what I wanted to achieve as it was quite complicated with my current website being hosted on the domain that I wanted to use for my personal brand. Cristian and I set up a phonecall to discuss everything in further detail and see if we could come up with a solution, he explained everything to me so I could work out the best course of action.

Quotes were sent via email and finalised. I sent them some examples of websites that I liked and then they got onto coming up with a design for me. The initial designs were nearly perfect, they really understood what I was trying to do and they were very speedy with everything. We communicated via email the whole way through and screenshotting any changes once it went to the developers until it was perfect.

What was the team composition?

Cristian, Florin, Marian and all the team were always on hand to help the whole way through and a real pleasure to work with. They answered my questions very quickly and provided their expert advice throughout to help me make the right decisions.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The site has only just gone live but everyone who has seen it via its launch on social media as provided glowing feedback to the design

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We communicated via email the whole way through, sending images and files of the design and then web links when the website was being developed. Someone was always there to respond to me whenever I contacted them and it was a very pleasurable and smooth process.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I've been using Very Creative for the last 5 years because they are so friendly and I am always blown away by their amazing creativity in web design. They are also such lovely people to work with, very friendly, very helpful, and very knowledgeable. They also have a lot of patience with me as I don't understand much about tech and web development.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Really, I don't think there are any areas for improvement. There were a few differences between the initial design and what was then built but a few emails back and forth and they made all the changes until it was completely perfect. They are a top team and a total delight to work with!

We are a start-up company that has developed a plant-based Vegan Mini bite. We are hoping to launch into the Retail and Foodservice Sectors within the next 3 months. I am the owner and CEO of the company and have no employees at the moment.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

I have received numerous comments on how amazing my website is. As stated, I am only in the start-up phase so I am using social media to drive people to my website and create some buzz about my brand name and what we offer the consumer. It acts as a great advertising and networking tool.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project management was wonderfully effective and very responsive to my needs. Well done. As I said, the site was developed in 2017 and I was very thrilled with the results and have received many positive comments about the site. The direction of my business changed and VeryCreative was able to assist in helping me make those small changes on the site.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I find VeryCreative to be very professional and attention to detail is vital. They respond quickly and follow the direction that was given and also made some other suggestions. I will definitely work with them again in the future and moving forward as the company and product offerings will continuously evolve.

All is good!

I am an entrepreneur in residence at Ogulo, a company that offers 360 virtual tours and other digital services to real estate professionals.

Our company website was created seven years ago and has only gone through minor changes since. A new look and new functionalities were due a long time ago, but our in-house developer team struggles with capacity issues and couldn't prioritize this project. As a result, we decided to outsource.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a new website with an updated design and new functionalities. It needed to be informative and allow visitors can find easily what they're looking for. We also wanted a website that’s easy to update on our end.

How did you select this vendor?

I conducted a search for the provider that would suit our needs best. We ended up working on a small test project with each company, and we decided to move ahead with VeryCreative. This decision was based mostly on their professionalism, excellent communication, the chemistry between our teams, their incredible flexibility in every aspect, and their fair price point.

After several discovery phone calls, we agreed on what we'd like to achieve within this project. VeryCreative provided several design mockups. I then set up the wireframes for each page—in collaboration with our management and marketing team—and delivered these with the design files to VeryCreative. They started the implementation straight away, and I moved onto planning the checkout session. I chatted with VeryCreative about it and received valuable input before they started building the site.

What was the team composition?

I only had contact with two people, which made communication very easy. Cris (Marketing Manager, VeryCreative) helped with anything organizational- and marketing-related, and Marian (Manager, VeryCreative ) was available whenever we had a question regarding technical implementation.

The website has yet to launch; VeryCreative's team is working on the last few details. We are super excited to see the result!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication with Cris has always been top-notch. The team communicates well; they are always informative, polite, and resourceful. We use Asana for project management, and Cris had no problem whatsoever using the tool we're used to.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I'm having a hard time choosing between their speed and flexibility. However, what impressed me the most is that multiple times, VeryCreative has provided valuable input and ideas without expecting anything in return. That's definitely a feature we don't see too often.

Are there any areas for improvement?

It's a personal preference, but we decided to have the design delivered from someone else. If anything, it would have been more comfortable to receive everything from one end.

I'm a project manager for Unique Dental Marketing. We do digital marketing for dental practices, including website design and development and SEO and PPC. As a project manager, I organize most of the website projects and act as a go-between for doctors and marketing teams.

We went through a series of designs for both our website and the website templates we offer clients. I provided mockups of the structure we were looking for, and VeryCreative's team transformed them into beautiful, usable designs. With small tweaks here and there, we walked away with our own responsive website and 24 template designs we now use with clients.

From VeryCreative, we primarily worked with Marian as the project lead, and then Demi, a designer, and Oana, a developer. We continue to work with them on ongoing projects. We’ll add other developers if we're really busy.

The website they built for us is incredibly creative. It’s a very useful tool to show potential clients.

They’re highly responsive and are always on track. As long as I keep up with them, we’re fine.

The creativity and professional development they bring to the table are amazing. It’s the final touches that really put them over the top regarding our expectations though.

All in all, I’ve really enjoyed working with VeryCreative. They're prompt with most returns, and if anything sneaks under their radar, they remedy it quickly.

I'm the marketing director at Adapex, which is a programmatic advertising firm that represents publishers to sell their online advertising.

What challenge were you trying to address with VeryCreative? 

We needed to redo our website. It was outdated and not representative of how much the company had grown and developed. We needed to rebrand ourselves, but what we really needed was a website that was more engaging, savvy, and user-friendly.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement? 

VeryCreative had an initial screening call where they asked us a lot of questions about our business, goals, and objectives. They also wanted to know what our clients were looking for. We gave them a competitive analysis of things our competition was doing that we liked. We wrote our own copy and they developed a totally new design of our site. They continue to work on additional collateral pieces based on the new website design.

What is the team composition?

Our main point of contact is Christian (Marketing Manager, VeryCreative). We spoke to the CEO at one point as well as a sales manager. 

How did you come to work with VeryCreative?

We did an extensive RFP process with several agencies that we found on Clutch. Their proposal came in at a price that was comfortable for us. We thought that they were smart and sharp. We also liked the examples of their previous work in their portfolio. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $2,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project began in January 2019, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our new website launched last week. We haven't even sent a big blast out yet because we're still tweaking a few things. Everybody at the company is happy with it. We didn't have to give VeryCreative much direction. They got our vision on the first pass and didn't require a lot of input.

How did VeryCreative perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team is excellent. We're in constant contact rather than having regularly scheduled meetings. We're in different time zones so it’s hard to find a convenient time to get on the phone. We do everything through email, which works great. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

VeryCreative is really easy to work with. Their design work is excellent and right on point. Their process of managing our edits was very smooth. They had no problem going back and forth until the site was just right. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Everything turned out great. However, we were definitely winging it. We never knew this piece is coming today and that piece is coming tomorrow. It's not a major critique because we were in touch all the time. There wasn’t any push or pull from either side. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers? 

They don't write copy, which we didn't know going in. So understand that they’re primarily a design firm. Additionally, the more organized you are and the more direction you can give them, the more efficient they'll be in their work.
