I’m the director of a consultancy firm and I also own a retail business.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ecommatrix AB?

For my consultancy business, I hired Ecommatrix to aid me with recruiting people with technical backgrounds. On the side of my retail business, I sought their product development services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The first project centered around recruitment and the second project, which is ongoing, involves a combination of product development, SEO, and digital marketing. Ecommatrix focuses on a certain set of customers in a particular country using specific keywords. They’re also designing, building, and running a sales engine on my behalf.

I’m quite hands-off with the project as an investor-owner. I simply let the team run those sides of my businesses for me.

What is the team composition?

They’re quite a sizeable team but I mainly deal with the director of Ecommatrix.

How did you come to work with Ecommatrix AB?

I found them through my network. A person I know had worked with Ecommatrix before. I ultimately decided to hire them because of their lengthy experience, metrics, and approach to the project. I also got a good vibe from them and felt like they knew what they were talking about. These were the same reasons why I continued our partnership after the first recruitment project. 

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve spent roughly $30,000 so far. That doesn’t yet include the monthly fee that I pay for the marketing and product development project. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started talking in February 2021 and our partnership is ongoing.

With Ecommatrix helping me, I’ve definitely saved quite a lot in terms of cost and time. My time is quite valuable, and their involvement allows me to not use up too much of my personal hours for business matters. 

How did Ecommatrix AB perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re great in terms of project management. We are quite agile, which means that we are very results-driven and KPI-oriented. Everything is planned, organized, and outlined properly. 

I normally communicate with the team through WhatsApp. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

What really stands out about Ecommatrix is how focused they are on numbers and results. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could have a bigger team.

We hired Ecommatrix to get their professional knowledge in the development phase of Reducera, basically anything from questions regarding SEO to consultance in full-stack development.

I've worked with one person in the team before and I was really impressed back then already, so it was a no-brainer to pick Ecommerce.

Ecommatrix helped us throughly with the development of our web app, everything from consulting during our choice of database to coding parts of the frontend.

The fact that we managed to go live with our web app as quickly as we did is a great outcome itself and exactly what was requested during the initial communication.

The workflow with Ecommatrix was really effective. They were really professional in their communication and super responsive no matter what or when help were needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I really appreciated their professionalism to me as a customer. Also, their wide set of knowledge in so many different IT-related areas.
