I’m the IT director of an air conditioning company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Verified Technologies?

We recently purchased a business with lax security on the access points and no firewall. Going into the acquisition, we knew they had no security in place, so we needed to implement some security measures.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Verified Technologies installed a firewall and access point and monitored our network. We initially reached out to their team and reviewed the requirements, including how many people we had, what we were doing, and what applications we were running.

From there, Verified Technologies put together the SOW, and we signed off. They removed the equipment, set up new equipment, and installed some internal cabling. Then, they came down and helped us deploy everything, which we weren’t expecting.

Additionally, they helped us set up a server in the cloud so we could run QuickBooks.

Alan (President) handled the whole project.

How did you come to work with Verified Technologies?

I found them through word of mouth around six years ago. I’ve used them at several companies due to their ease and speed of appointment.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent under $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We engaged them in January 2024, quickly after the acquisition. After we ironed out the details, they only took 1–2 weeks to deploy the equipment.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The only measure of success is that we’re up and running on QuickBooks and our CRM much quicker than if we’d ordered hardware. Our timeframe sped up tremendously just by being able to use the cloud. Overall, we probably went 2–3 weeks ahead of schedule thanks to Verified Technologies.

How did Verified Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered on time and within budget; there wasn’t anything out of scope. We communicated through phone calls, text messages, and emails. Moreover, if we called Alan, he picked up the phone.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I’d like to highlight Alan.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their flexibility was impressive. Other providers don’t give the owner’s phone number, but we could call Alan.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we didn’t find anything to improve. The team was very responsive; we had a good relationship with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’ve been working with Verified Technologies for so long, I’d assume they take every engagement like they take mine and treat every customer with professionalism and respect. They try to develop solutions that work for us, so I don’t think anybody has to ask them anything differently to get the same level of service.

We needed technical support.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Verified Technologies monitors our web page and provides us with IT support services. The team also offers advice if we need to buy new equipment, such as computers or printers. They’ve set up an app on our C drive that enables them to work on our computers remotely. If we have an issue, they’ll try to fix it remotely and come to our office if they can’t. 

Additionally, Verified Technologies is responsible for our sever’s and network’s security. We don’t have a server on-site; Verified Technologies has our information on their server. The team also ensures there are no negative actions on our website. 

What is the team composition?

We work with Alan (President), Randy (Service Manager), and a third member of Verified Technologies' team. 

How did you come to work with Verified Technologies?

I had known Alan before he started Verified Technologies when I was a director at another company, and he was always dependable. After he left his previous position and opened Verified Technologies, he called me and asked if we would go with them. I chose them because Alan is a great, moral person and very knowledgeable. I needed a provider I could rely on, so I went with Verified Technologies — we became their first client. 

How much have you invested with them?

We currently spend around $900 a month with Verified Technologies. However, their price has increased since we started working with them; on average, we’ve spent $800 a month with them throughout the engagement. Once in a while, we get extra charges if the team works on security or an annually-based project. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them around March 2015, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Verified Technologies is knowledgeable and dependable. The team is a support system for us, and their quality of work is excellent. Thanks to our server setup, we don’t have to worry about backup because Verified Technologies takes care of that. Since we were their first client, we’ve formed an excellent rapport with the team.

How did Verified Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

The team fixes issues immediately, 80% of the time. When they’re available, they address problems within the hour. If they’re off-site at another client’s office, they’ll inform me where they are and get to us as soon as possible. 

We use email, text messages, and phone calls to communicate with them. Usually, we send them an email, and Verified Technologies puts up a work order and emails that to us. From there, they update us as they work on the problem. I also have Alan and Randy’s cell phone numbers to call them during an emergency.

Since we’re a small company, there isn’t much of our work that intertwines with Verified Technologies’ tasks, so we can go weeks without speaking to them. However, we call them when needed, and the team is always there to help. As for on-site visits, other IT companies promise they’ll be over in an hour and show up 2–3 days later. Meanwhile, Alan and Randy show up when they say they will. 

While other IT companies charge hourly, Verified Technologies charges us a flat fee, whether or not we use them often during that period. Their monthly price is reasonable and reliable; the team doesn’t nickel and dime us. Overall, they offer us a very competitive package.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Verified Technologies is honest and always there for us. They deal with issues quickly, whereas other IT providers have been hard to reach and get back to us hours later. Verified Technologies is constantly available and knowledgeable to solve problems quickly. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything of them to improve.

Verified Technologies is reliable, professional, and personable, so call them when needed. The team will talk to you in layperson’s terms instead of speaking in technical terms — they’re down-to-earth and will explain what’s happening. In short, you can trust them to be there to help you.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve seen a huge increase in our network speed and overall stability, not just in terms of uptime. Sometimes servers are up, but something isn’t working, and Verified Technologies has mostly eliminated our challenges by proactively remediating those instances. 

How did Verified Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

Verified Technologies is exceptionally responsive. Even when they’re not immediately available to tackle a trouble ticket, they acknowledge us right away and create a plan for the outcome and when they can deliver it by.

They’re also really flexible when we face business challenges that prevent us from implementing best practices. They help us work through those scenarios and find the best possible solution for us without causing outages. 

We’ve never faced timeline or budget issues with Verified Technologies. They’re very upfront when they need time to figure out what something is going to cost. They always give us an explanation as to why costs may have changed from their initial estimate. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed with Verified Technologies’ responsiveness and attentiveness.

I have no constructive feedback; they’re doing a great job.

Verified Technologies is a very flexible and versatile managed service provider (MSP). They can tailor their services to meet your specific needs, which is rare.

• Ongoing IT services and montoring. They are available to us 24/7 as we are a 24/7 company
• Upon hiring instructions were if they keep our owner/CEO happy they would have us as a customer for life. They go above and beyond actually for all of us. They are very customer service oriented which in today's market is gold. Sometimes price isn't the motivation for everything it's their service of our account. A++++++++ can't give them enough Kudos.

Their customer service is exceptional. We are 24/7 and they are always available. A few of us work at home and office and our systems are set up like we are sitting in our office. When technology doesn't work correctly they are there 100% to fix our issues. They're awesome at meeting and exceeding our needs. To us, that is 100% a keeper for us.

Knowledge, willingness to help and address issues we might night be aware of. We don't feel that they are selling us services that we don't need. They are looking out for us and have solid reasons why they are recommending IT services they do. Again their customer service is outstanding.
