I am working as an AM - Manager in HR in a headcount of 40+ Employees.Sim

For what projects/services did your company hire Verge Systems?

Since we were working with the old pattern of maintaining sheets of Employee data, so we needed a platform where we can work on an open platform and can manage everything on same page on one click. These includes Employee data, Recruitment process, Payroll and others.

SOLUTION

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

We considered and follow up with multiple HR portals but decided to go with WebHR due to its friendly usage, very detailing and good as compare to price market.

They setup this Recruitment process which not only helped us with paperless process but making it smooth and allows data to gather at one place also their On boarding process is amazing too. We can get all our pool maintained through this which not only helped HR but the concern department heads who raises the requisition.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I had the IT manager tagged with me and also other team members who were well trained and manage to provide me training for each project.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

It really helped us sorting better talent by mentioning our JD and it filter out the best suitable candidate with less efforts and time.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I must say it was great, not only via email or video sessions, but they are always available on calls and texts, their prompt response hardly gets us into trouble and make the issue resolved in a very less time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their features and detailed fields are quite impressive and their Trainers who deals with us very calmly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We would have liked for them to provide more leadership coaching but that is something outside work scope. We plan to work with them again for this.

I’m the IT manager of my organization and we’re in the micro-finance banking sector. We provide microloans to customers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Verge Systems?

The main challenge was to improve the processing speed and documentation of our performance appraisal. We wanted to implement a paperless environment for our entire department. However, even if our system was already digitalized, we were still facing some challenges with speeding up our processes.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’re developing and digitalizing our whole system in the form of web and Android apps. This includes our entire financial system, HR system, and several other systems. 

Whenever we provide them a task, they research and analyze it. Then, their developers create the apps for us. After that, their work undergoes a QA process.

What is the team composition?

We work with a couple of developers and project managers as well as QA engineers and system analysts. Overall, there are between 15–20 people in their team who are working on our systems.

How did you come to work with Verge Systems?

We wanted to find someone that would perform well and had great service. In the end, we found out that Verge Systems had the best software solution.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve probably spent over $5 million.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership began in December 2009, and it’s ongoing. Every year, we increase our contract with Verge Systems.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’ve been working with Verge Systems for the past seven years and it’s been my best experience so far. Their work has produced a positive impact on my own professional growth. I consider them the best service provider; the team’s quality of work is great.

How did Verge Systems perform from a project management standpoint?

They complete their tasks in a timely manner. Even if they’re given multiple tasks, they still deliver. We assign tasks to them based on priority, and they’ve always performed based on that. Most importantly, if we have critical tasks, they work even during weekends or holidays just to finish them. 

We also appreciate that we can call their developers if we face any system issues. To assign tasks and provide feedback to Verge Systems, we utilize a cloud-based app. That app shows us when deliverables are completed, and it’s the main tool we use for interaction. Overall, everything has been excellent.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Verge Systems’ services have been impressive. They perform well and deliver quality work. Above all, they’re knowledgeable when it comes to the newest technologies.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re constantly improving their system, and as technology evolves, they evolve as well. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Verge Systems is the best IT solutions provider if you're working on a big platform. They’re dedicated, and they produce quality work. They also have a huge team of developers and QA specialists working with the latest technologies. I highly recommend engaging with them.

The main challenge was to improve the processing speed and documentation of our performance appraisals. Their team helped us to fulfill that specific need.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Their team helped us to set up the documentation process from scratch. In addition to that framework, they helped us to build out our storage capabilities and sorting mechanisms for the messages and data that we receive on a regular basis.

We only worked with a few members of their team. They had other individuals involved in the project, but all of our communication was funneled through a few point people.

They were referred to us by another company that we partner with in the industry who had had good experiences with them before.

The total cost of the work has been about $1 million.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them around July 2017 and have continued the partnership ever since.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Any time we have given them a ticket to work on, they have done a fantastic job of identifying our core concerns and then delivering on them. They don’t bother us until they have a solution, and then we review the work with them before uploading it onto the system. It really has been a totally seamless and successful engagement so far.

How did Verge Systems perform from a project management standpoint?

We haven’t missed a single deadline with them, which is something that our whole team appreciates. No matter the difficulty of the task, they will go above and beyond to make sure that they arrive at the best possible final product well before we hit our deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about them?

In everything they do, they put the customer first. In the review process for each task, they are completely willing to accept feedback on their work and even to start some elements over if you need them to. They demonstrate a level of customer-focus that few companies are rarely committed to.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing I can think of that I wish they had done differently.
