I’m the founder of a technology firm specialized in staff augmentation.

We worked with them for development support.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We collaborated with them on some projects, the last one being the development of a platform. We provide them with staff augmentation services and work with them in joint projects.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 4 people from their team and it increased to 6 in the busiest moment of the project. 

How did you come to work with Venon Solutions?

They were referred to us, and they have a very similar working culture to ours. There aren’t many companies that manage the same methodologies we do so collaborating seemed like a great thing to do. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working with them for a long time. The most recent project we had with them lasted about 10 months from 2019–2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They were very involved in the projects and took every one of them as their own. They were always willing to find a way to achieve the best results for us. 

How did Venon Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We never had any issues with communication. Our expectations were always completely clear and they always met them timely.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their involvement and commitment to each project impressed me. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We had a small issue with one of the developers, and the architect didn’t have a very good feeling working with people. I believe that is an important thing to have for a senior position, but we solved it and it didn’t become a big issue.

I’m the former director of delivery at Teambase, a digital transformation firm.

What challenge were you trying to address with Venon Solutions?

We needed help with development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us with software development, mobile development, and SharePoint. Our main area was data analytics working with Microsoft BI stack. There were other products that ranged from traditional web development for typical transactional web applications, from SharePoint itself for business productivity and data analytics. 

For data analytics, it was a full range from SQL server on-premise all the way to Azure Cloud. The last 2–3 years were mainly around data analytics, AI, and machine learning.

What is the team composition?

There were up to 10-11 people from their team—they were flexible based on our needs.

How did you come to work with Venon Solutions?

I had past experience working with them. I had some business interactions with one of the shareholders of the company. I knew they were a relatively small company and flexible. They had the skills we required at that point. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $500,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement ran from 2015-2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They were instrumental in the process of helping us grow our business. With a few isolated instances with individuals that didn’t work out for us, our satisfaction was very high. They accommodated to meet our demands and request, providing teammates who had the latest knowledge in technology. The quality of their work was very high.

How did Venon Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We provided project management ourselves in most cases. Typically, if we needed to scale up, they’d provide team leads. Their quality and processes around software development and keeping track of execution were very good. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were growing our business and changing our profile of the organization. They looked after their people to make sure that everything would be up to our expectations. They were a true business partner — we never considered them to be just a provider of services. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

When we needed to scale and recruit more people, one time we needed four people and the other month we needed 12. The skills we required were quite unique and it was difficult to find them worldwide. They got better with finding those talents in time and I wouldn’t say it’s an issue on their side.

I am an IT manager at an IT consulting services firm. We have a presence across the United States and Lain America.

What challenges were you trying to address with Venon Solutions?

We needed to find staff for some of our projects very quickly, I knew they had staff augmentation services so I contacted them and ended up helping them find developers that helped us in different projects, particularly in architecture and development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Venon Solutions provided development resources for us. Their team worked in HTML over C#, and SQL0.

What is the team composition?

We worked with three members of the Venon Solutions team.

How did you come to work with Venon Solutions?

I used to work with the company’s manager in a previous position some time ago. So when this project came up, I knew about his company and services, I asked for quotations and proposals from different companies but theirs was the one that I liked the most. 

How much have you invested in them?

We have invested about $280,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement ran from 2013 to 2014.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It was a very good experience, we established a very good relationship and worked together again in the future. I would hire them again anytime.

How did Venon Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

At the time we used Pivotal Tracker for project management and didn’t have any issues, we met every deadline, and everything went well. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their willingness to collaborate and agility was always great.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I honestly couldn’t say anything, everything went well.
