For features, the website has a landing page with a 3D animation video produced by VALMAX. Our primary focus has been to legitimize our company in the mind of our existing customers, and we’ve received great feedback about the website’s design and functionality. We expect the site’s design and development to be an incredible asset for converting leads. Overall, the website is doing exactly what we want; in fact, the bounce rate has dropped by almost 100%. 

How did VALMAX perform from a project management standpoint?

VALMAX has delivered the work on time and within budget. We’ve had some tough spots. Initially, they didn’t take a collaborative or creative approach. As a customer, we’ve had some clear ideas on things we wanted to incorporate, and we’ve had some creative differences. Once we’ve managed to be clear about expectations, VALMAX has opened up to our input into the creative process, and we’ve ended up with a very good result. We communicate via phone calls, emails, Google Documents, and ClickUp.

VALMAX has a very high self-image of their capabilities.

VALMAX could discover whether the client has any creative ideas at the start and be more open to evaluating outside stakeholders' creative input. Their communication has been average and straightforward, but sometimes it’s a little too direct and not expansive enough to understand all the intent.

Come to the table with some concepts, a mood board, and a description of what you want. VALMAX will have something to work with and provide early concepts that can guide the direction and get results faster.

The only thing I can think of is having a tracking system for customer feedback—something like a comment with a status (not started, in progress, completed). At the beginning, I had a lot of questions and suggestions, and since communication was mostly via email, it wasn’t easy to understand what had been completed and what was still in progress. The same applies to bug reports.

VALMAX started by understanding our needs. We created a mood board to show them our ideas, the pages we wanted, and how we wanted the website to look. VALMAX then created mock-ups based on our needs and how we wanted the website to look and function. After we agreed on the mock-ups, VALMAX completed the design and developed the entire website in WordPress. VALMAX also provided maintenance and hosting services. For tools, we used Figma for the designs, mock-ups, and mood boards.

We were working with a different company for our branding, but they couldn’t understand our requirements, and their work wasn’t professional. VALMAX did an amazing job with our branding. We’ve received positive feedback about our website, both online and offline. The website stands out, which is important to us. We were satisfied with their work.

VALMAX stayed within budget. Some companies give you a mock-up and tell you something doesn’t work, or you must change something. VALMAX delivered exactly what was in the mock-up.

There were some delays, but we didn’t have a specific deadline. Sometimes, we wanted something by a certain date because we had a promotion, but we also wanted a good product. Sometimes, this takes more time. VALMAX worked hard to ensure the website was as we required, and we didn’t pay for any extra time.

It was a very collaborative process; we could comment and add more ideas. We also communicated via email and Google Meet.

VALMAX delivered. It’s not easy to satisfy me or my team. We wanted something catchy that resembled the Arabic scene and mood for Digital Dunes. VALMAX captured what was in our heads, which isn’t easy to do.

VALMAX isn’t a corporate company, so they don’t have 100 team members. They’re still growing, so there’s room for improvements and adjustments.

Be clear in your communication. Some of the delays were due to communication issues. Sometimes it was their fault, and sometimes it was ours. This is a general issue between any company and service provider. Always communicate directly to ensure the work isn’t delayed from one side or another.
