I’m the founder and CEO of Marine Digital. We develop industrial AI solutions to help maritime vessels reduce fuel consumption.

We were planning to launch a product website to address the issues of design, client communications, and investor communications. We hired VALMAX DIGITAL to help us design and develop the site and guide us through the process.

VALMAX DIGITAL has designed our product website and implemented the design using WordPress. Initially, they gave us a questionnaire, and I provided references for the kind of websites I liked and why and explained what we wanted to achieve. When visiting our website, we wanted users to learn about the product and our core values, including our innovative approach. 

The VALMAX DIGITAL team has guided us through the design process via discussions with our internal team and myself to explore the ideas behind the project and then communicate those ideas through the site’s design. The team has provided several drafts of the site’s design at every stage. Currently, the website is launched, and we’ll continue working with VALMAX DIGITAL on our software product's design and frontend development.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

My end clients have been happier since we started working with VALMAX DIGITAL. Before this project, our site was more of a blog, and now we have a product website. Moreover, the values behind our products and the product itself are much more understandable on the website. I plan to use the site for investor presentations in the upcoming weeks. 

As for continuous collaboration, we want to continue working with VALMAX DIGITAL. Their team has expertise, and we like how they communicate via product design.

When working with any design agency, you should have a clear vision of the results you want to achieve through the website. For example, communicating products clearly or other strong parameters. This way, you can support your design partner instead of using more subjective metrics like wanting something to be innovative but not knowing how.

After having first discussion I didn't waste any time on control or reminders later, because there was no need. The team worked quickly and I only received the results of their work at each stage. Product owner of the blockchain project M2E (Move to Earn) MovePlusRun. The project has now moved to the stage of web development and we hope to launch it in spring and hope for stabilization of the cryptocurrency market.

We hired them to implement our idea from scratch. The main task was to create prototypes, UX - audit, research competitors, and develop design concepts.

I found their account on Dribbble and after looking at their portfolio, I realized that the team works towards cryptocurrency, NFT, blockchain and all the related stuff - so we thought they would clearly understand our requirements. And we weren't wrong!

Our collaboration was for 1.5 months and I would say it was a very productive time. It all started with several introductory calls in which we told our idea in the M2E (Move to Earn) blockchain niche and how we see the implementation. And within a week we received several versions of prototypes for our project and continued to discuss the details. After we approved the prototypes, the next step was to create design concepts. Due to the fact that this niche is very popular and profitable nowadays, we needed something which will definitely stand out among the competitors and the Valmax team took a creative and fresh approach to this task. We are happy with the result.

The result pleasantly surprised us, we are glad we hired a team that is so attentive and responsible to work As you already know our website is not ready yet and is still under development. And we want to keep it a secret for now, but we hope that when we go to market.

At first, we shared our brand design with VALMAX DIGITAL and explained our requirements. Then VALMAX DIGITAL started to create wireframes within Figma. At this point we gave them feedback and explained what we expect. This is a crucial step and was perfectly handled by VALMAX DIGITAL. They have been eager to implement our feedback until we have been 100% satisfied. Then they transformed the low fidelity wireframes into high fidelity wireframes. At this point we had again the opportunity to request changes.

The VALMAX DIGITAL was always open for feedback and ready to improve every small detail. After finishing the design, VALMAX DIGITAL developed the website within WordPress. This step went very smooth and allowed us to lean back and wait. Lastly, they delivered us the result on a staging site, which gave us the opportunity to check the website and ask for small adaptions if necessary. After our confirmation, they migrated the website to our server.

I highly appreciated the willingness of delivering the best result. If we requested any changes, VALMAX DIGITAL was ready to make them. I could see the motivation to create great results for clients. This attitude of always improving is unique and the main reason to continue cooperating with VALMAX DIGITAL.

Not really. There have been the usual challenges with such a project. The key aspect was that VALMAX DIGITAL always did everything to overcome such small challenges.

We hired this team to design and develop a WP site site with the implementation of closed voting for candidates in various comic nominations for us. The complexity of the task was that it took only 3 days to draw and develop the site.

Our in-house designers and developers were not involved in the implementation of the project, because according to preliminary forecasts, it was impossible to do this in such a short time due to the heavy workload and New Year's holidays.

The number of specialists involved was not specified, but the contractor immediately warned that in view of such a tight deadline, the entire team would work on overtime conditions. Design together with adaptive - 8-10 hours; Development - 32-36 hours; PM - 2-4 hours; QA - 2-4 hours.

Users noted the speed and convenience of the design, as well as the ease of authorization through a personal profile on a social network. During the two weeks that the voting lasted, there were no complaints about its functioning.

After we launched the website we start doing our marketing campaign and successfully start our project. Our client's say that they like the design of the website and also the load performance of the website is perfect.

That is perfect work for us because we don't waste money on our marketing campaign.

We had weekly stand-ups with their project manager. PM provides all the time actual information about the working process. For this project we used Slack for quick communication and for project management we used our internal PM tool.

We also working with web-development but we are developing just from scratch and just with Laravel framework. After we working with VALMAX on this project they proved to me that WordPress is a good CMS, and also they show how it's easy to manage a site developed on WordPress.

All was doing great. Because we are from the same industry we perfectly understand the importance of communication. They provided clear information from the start to avoid bugs at the end of the project.
