• Replace phone and messenger ordering with self-service checkout: clear prices, a delivery-date picker that hides unavailable days, a €50 minimum and automatic confirmation and reminder e-mails. Staff spend less time taking orders and answering the same questions.
• Move wedding and custom cake enquiries to a structured online form that captures the date, size and design details up front. The team gets complete briefs, sends quotes faster and avoids long back-and-forth.
• Track online sales with Google Analytics 4 behind a GDPR-compliant cookie consent banner. The owners can see which products sell, where customers drop off and which marketing works, while staying within EU privacy rules.
• We wanted to create a new website that would reflect the quality and positioning of our brand much more accurately and, at the same time, function as a real sales channel.

The project included the design and development of a completely new website for Marashlian Pastry. The work covered the overall website structure and UX, visual design, product presentation, e-commerce functionality, online ordering and the technical implementation of the platform. A particularly important part of the project was finding the right balance between presenting the products beautifully and creating a website that is practical and intuitive for customers to use.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The website has given us a significantly stronger digital foundation for the business. It presents our products and brand much more accurately, makes the customer journey considerably clearer and has created a proper platform for online sales and future marketing activity. We are still building the volume of data needed to assess its full commercial impact, so I would rather not overstate short-term metrics. What is already clear is that the website has substantially improved the way customers can discover, understand and order from Marashlian Pastry.

Most custom cake enquiries now arrive complete through the online form, so quotes go out in about 2 hours instead of 3 days , and 90% of them became orders.

As with any complex website project, there were moments when clearer prioritisation and tighter coordination between the different stages could have made the process more efficient. At the same time, the team was always open to feedback and willing to address issues when they appeared, which ultimately made the collaboration very constructive.

We integrated 11 analytics and advertising platforms, improving campaign tracking, conversion measurement, attribution, and visibility into marketing performance.

We connected 12+ regional courier services, enabling localized delivery options such as home delivery, courier offices, and pickup points across key markets.

Klaviyo was implemented across 28+ regional lists, supporting newsletter growth, abandoned cart recovery, back-in-stock flows, SMS consent, and automated campaigns.

Yotpo Loyalty and Reviews were integrated across multiple markets, supporting customer retention, loyalty points, VIP tiers, review collection, and localized social proof.

The client gained faster campaign execution through custom promotional, bundle, affiliate, and A/B testing systems built for continuous optimization.
