 I’m the manager of marketing technology at Marshall & Stevens, a financial services company. We provide valuation, appraisal, and financial advisory services, including fairness and solvency opinions, business and asset valuations, and litigation support for domestic and international transactions.

 We needed help with a refreshed brand website design.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Usman Group has developed a new website infrastructure, including front- and backend development, page templates, modules, menus, and custom fields. The team has also transferred content from our legacy website to the new one. The team is responsible for adding templates, modules, menus, and custom fields.

We work with two teammates from Usman Group.

Usman Group was referred to us.

We started working with Usman Group in January 2025, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Usman Group has made progress on our website. The team has built pages and populated them with content. Usman Group has also solved problems via tickets. The quality of the content port was closer to 2/5, reducing the overall rating significantly.

The number of errors implies that there was no real review of the content brought over from our old site: duplicate pages, page mistakes, obvious misspellings, etc. With a better review process in place for content I would have rated this higher

How did Usman Group perform from a project management standpoint?

Usman Group has delivered on time. We use Basecamp, email, and a ticketing system to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Naveed, Usman Group's CEO, is great to work with. He’s a good communicator and responds quickly to most issues.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The legacy content port was disappointing. There were many content problems, some of which we’re still fixing. The team found misspellings of common words and even our business name. The contact sections referenced the wrong pages, and staff had the wrong titles. My team had to do a ton of work to correct these mistakes.
