 I’m the former head of design at GPI, an oil and gas production company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Urban Effect Media?

 We needed support to build and ship software to our end client.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

 Urban Effect Media designed products for our end client. The team conducted design research and developed a proper design system and strategy. They also created wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes. Overall, their work focused on UI/UX design.

What is the team composition?

 We worked with 4–5 teammates from Urban Effect Media.

How did you come to work with Urban Effect Media?

 We found them through a referral.

What is the status of this engagement?

 We worked together from January 2024–September 2025.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

 Urban Effect Media delivered design systems and low- and high-fidelity designs. The team also developed our end client’s website, which was delivered in September 2025. The website was perfect and demonstrated the brand identity of our end client’s business.

How did Urban Effect Media perform from a project management standpoint?

 Urban Effect Media delivered on time. We communicated via Slack, email, phone calls, WhatsApp, and Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

 Urban Effect Media’s teamwork, client engagement, and extensive product research were impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

 They could provide support after the deliverable at no cost for a period of time after the product launch.
