I’m the CEO of Niritech Digital Services Limited, a software consultancy agency that provides technical teams that customize and build solutions for clients in the Caribbean and North America.

We wanted a recruitment partner that would help us meet our targets for team resources from Latin America.

Unplug Studio and our company have a partnership that focuses on serving clients in nearshore markets by helping to build and manage technical teams across the Caribbean and North America. Unplug Studio assists with the recruitment and staffing of team members from Latin America, specifically for software development needs.

We work with 2–5 teammates from Unplug Studio.

How did you come to work with Unplug Studio?

We met Unplug Studio at a regional conference within the Caribbean. We chose them because they were close to our geographic location, and our company values aligned.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Unplug Studio in June 2026, and our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Unplug Studio has been able to recruit and deliver qualified team members in a timely manner. We measure the timeliness based on having team members ready to start projects on or before the project start dates. We measure the qualifications by interviewing each candidate.

How did Unplug Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Unplug Studio delivers on time. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Unplug Studio’s responsiveness is impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.

What challenge were you trying to address with Unplug Studio?

We needed help tagging and tracking our various sites and apps to give our marketing and product teams the data they needed.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Unplug Studio helped us with web and app analytics tracking using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Segment. They started by editing our existing tags on the site to enable a better understanding of user engagement, and then they did the same thing with our CRM.

We worked with around three members of their team.

A colleague of mine referred them to me.

How much money have you invested in this partnership?

We spent $5,000–$10,000 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from November 2021–June 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their work saved us around 100 hours of staff time.

How did Unplug Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was fantastic; we used Asana, where we managed the assigning of every task, and Unplug Studio was great in keeping that updated. In terms of communication, we used Slack, email, and weekly calls to troubleshoot any situation that arose.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were a knowledgeable team in web and app analytics and tracking, which was high quality.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We had a bit of a hurdle in giving access to them to our internal system, but that wasn’t on their end. Other than that, it was fantastic working with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be organized with your needs and communicate them to Unplug Studio’s team. Moreover, rely on them when you need help mapping out an issue — they help find solutions quickly and efficiently.

I am the Operations Manager of Teacher Study. We provide continuing education credits for educators across the country.

For what projects/services did your company hire Unplug Studio, and what were your goals?

Teacher Study needed a website that could handle registrations and provide a personal student dashboard for our clients. Unplug Studio delivered a website that we rely on daily for our business. The team at Unplug continues to be vital in our operations. When necessary, they are responsive and keep us up and running without issue.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Unplug Studio was recommended to Teacher Study through other business associations.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

This was a large project. We needed a website that could handle incoming business, clearly and concisely project what our business offerings are, handle customer interactions and offer "backend" ease of use for us to operate. User experience was key. Information needed to be straightforward and clear for our customers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Customers often comment on the ease and convenience of our website. They can submit coursework, ask questions and have access to all of their course materials instantly after registering.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

I have found that Unplug Studios is responsive when questions or issues arise. Projects are completed within the timeframe that has been agreed upon. My project manager, Mauricio P, is always available and communicates clearly and professionally with Teacher Study at all times.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Our professional website is one that Teacher Study is proud to put our name on. It runs efficiently, conveys who we are and what we do as a business and is user friendly for our customers.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Whenever any bugs or fixes have been necessary, Unplug Studios does not hesitate to jump and remedy the situation in a timely manner.

I am the CEO of a small consultancy that helps companies audit and manage tracking code on their websites.

For what projects/services did your company hire Unplug Studio?

We did not have in-house capability to do our own marketing and advertising.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We worked with Unplug as a contractor and partner for many analytic jobs. After getting to know the marketing team, we felt comfortable to try a marketing campaign.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Unplug was tasked with reviewing past marketing efforts and creating and executing a strategy to build brand awareness and then focus on specific Service offerings. The end goal was to meet new clients and expand the business.

What was the team composition?

On TM side, we have Finance and Marketing analyst Ricardo De Santiago, and on the Unplug side, we have lead account manager and designer, Erika, as well as 2 other point people to handle specific campaign set ups and execution.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

So fare we are only 3 months into the campaign, but have received a considerable amount of learning and feedback from new customers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Unplug is always proactive about bi-monthly meetings (2X per month), and willing to jump on a zoom call at any moment. Very accessible.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I like their solid understanding of the different online marketing platforms such as Facebook, or Twitter, and Instagram. Able to adapt the message to any platform and app.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

There is always a language challenge. But that comes with the territory for working "off-shore" or with international partners. So it is a given factor we have to continue to work with.
