Describe what your company does in a single sentence.
MarkDigital is a full-cycle mobile and web application development studio building custom iOS, Android, and web products for clients across the US, Europe, and the CIS.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire UAATEAM to accomplish?
- We were building a car rental marketplace for one of our clients – a mobile-first product with iOS, Android, and web. Beyond the design and development work we handle in-house, we needed a full-funnel marketing partner: someone who could plug in during the build to set up SEO foundations, scale demand through paid acquisition once we launched, and then own the email and lifecycle layer to make retention and repeat bookings predictable. We hired UAATEAM to be that end-to-end partner across all three layers under one roof.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
"The engagement unfolded in three phases, each building on the last.
Phase 1 – SEO during design and development. UAATEAM joined while the product was still in build. They audited our planned site architecture, advised on URL structure and schema markup (Vehicle, LocalBusiness, Product), specified meta and heading templates for each page type, and laid out the keyword map our content team would target post-launch. They also worked with our dev team on Core Web Vitals, indexability, and crawl efficiency, so the platform was launch-ready from an SEO standpoint and started ranking from day one.
Phase 2 – Paid acquisition. Once we went live, UAATEAM stood up the full paid-media program. They built and managed Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, and App campaigns to drive iOS and Android installs) and Meta Ads (prospecting, retargeting, Advantage+ catalog), set up full conversion tracking and attribution, and ran a structured creative testing program. They rebalanced spend across channels based on actual data – ROAS climbed steadily through the first two quarters and CAC settled below our benchmark for the rental category.
Phase 3 – Email and lifecycle marketing. As the user base grew, UAATEAM built out the email layer to capture retention value the paid funnel couldn't. They mapped the user journey, designed segmentation, and built welcome flows, booking-abandonment recovery, post-rental follow-ups, win-back campaigns, and a promotional newsletter. Email is now a meaningful revenue contributor in its own right and has reduced our reliance on paid for repeat bookings.
Underneath all three phases: analytics architecture, monthly performance reporting, and quarterly strategy reviews that tied everything back to the business goals. Key deliverables included the technical SEO roadmap, keyword strategy and content calendar, paid media account builds and ongoing management across Google and Meta, app-install campaign strategy, full lifecycle email program, CRM integration, and an executive dashboard we still use to track performance across all channels month over month."
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Across the three workstreams, the results have compounded:
- SEO: because we engaged UAATEAM during the build, the platform indexed and ranked from day one – we didn't lose the typical 4–6 month post-launch ramp. Organic sessions have grown month-over-month consistently, with priority commercial keywords on page one.
- Paid: ROAS on Google Ads scaled past 4x within the first two quarters, CAC settled meaningfully below the rental-industry benchmark we measured against, and Meta retargeting carries one of the strongest conversion rates of any channel.
App-install campaigns kept download CPI in a healthy range across both iOS and Android.
- Email: now contributes a double-digit share of monthly bookings. Booking-abandonment and post-rental flows are the standout performers and have lifted repeat-booking rate noticeably. - Overall: blended CAC has dropped, the channel mix has diversified so we're not dependent on any single source, conversion rate through the booking funnel has improved roughly 30% from baseline, and marketing is now a predictable, reportable function rather than a guessing exercise.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Project management has been a real strength, especially as the scope expanded across channels. From kickoff, UAATEAM set a clear cadence: weekly status calls with a written agenda, a shared Slack channel for daily questions, and ClickUp for task and content workflow. Each month we get a full performance report covering organic, paid, email, and conversion metrics, with commentary on what's working and what's next. Deliverables hit on time, and when timelines did need to shift it was always communicated in advance with reasoning. Their PM kept the team accountable on our side as much as theirs – surfacing dependencies early and flagging blockers before they cost us a week. For a $50K+ engagement spanning more than a year now, the operational discipline has been exactly what we needed.
What was your primary form of communication with UAATEAM?
- Virtual Meeting
- Email or Messaging App
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Two things. First, how seriously they take being involved before launch – they actively wanted to sit in design and dev meetings and shape decisions that would affect marketing later. They pushed back on page templates and URL patterns that would have hurt indexability, and they were right about most of it. Second, the way the engagement grew with the project – they started as our SEO consultants during the build, scaled into paid acquisition once we went live, then layered in email and lifecycle as retention became the priority. Most agencies want a fixed scope; UAATEAM evolved alongside the product and absorbed channels as we needed them, without quality slipping in any of them. As another agency, we know how hard it is to find a partner who behaves like a co-owner of the outcome rather than a vendor running a scope. UAATEAM has been that partner.
Are there any areas for improvement or something UAATEAM could have done differently?
Nothing material. Early on we asked for slightly more granular reporting on link-building and creative testing activity, and they delivered it within the next cycle. Beyond that, the engagement has been smooth and we have no critique to offer. Highly recommend.
