Our website was over 15 years old, hadn't been updated, didn't interface with social media and I don't have the time/expertise to revise/manage it.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I looked for web design companies, solicited proposals and decided on the solution that was best for us. I met Chad through an event, he described his company/what they do and was intovative in his ideas on how to make our website/social media presence more effective.

Initially, Chad and I virtually met a couple of times to determine a focus for what we wanted to achieve with our website/social media presence. Once we had a general idea, Chad and his team put together a mock presentation for us to review. After minor tweaking, a date was set to go live with the new site. Chad continues to host our website, make changes as needed and provide new ideas on how to further improve.

In total we work with Chad and his business partner Jason. They own/manage the company.

Our website looks 1000% times better, offers us the ability to easily change/add information as needed and is a great resource for us with the public.

Chad and Jason are very easy to work with, extremely efficient and knowledgeable in how to continue moving us forward.

Their knowledge of what is available with progression to implementation is very impressive.  They're an awesome company to work with!

Our website was outdated, and it wasn’t doing its job in promoting our company on Google. Tunnel Vision LLC came into the picture to refurbish our website based on our existing site content. They conducted a site visit to understand the core of our business and integrate that into the new platform they were building.

Tunnel Vision LLC has already completed developing the website, but we still rely on them for site maintenance and any necessary updates that we need them to implement.

Before we engaged Tunnel Vision Design LLC, we weren’t getting enough leads, and our Google ranking wasn’t as high as we wanted it to be. However, we’ve noticed a lot of improvement since they’ve taken over our development efforts. 

We’re tracking our site engagement on Google Analytics, and we’ve seen a lot more leads recently. Interested customers have also contacted us upon seeing our website. Overall, we’re pleased with the results they’ve delivered so far.

Tunnel Vision Design LLC communicates effectively with our team — we honestly feel like they’re part of our internal staff. They’re always available when we need them, and they deliver results within quick turnaround times.

We’re most impressed with their team’s adaptability — they consider our feedback well and implement any necessary changes to improve our platform. It’s easy to work with them because they work as hard as our team.

I can’t think of anything off the top of my head. They’re always ready to address any challenge with us, and we appreciate them for that.

Make sure to document your needs and requirements precisely before handing the scope over to their team. This has been the biggest challenge we’ve dealt with, but luckily, Tunnel Vision Dessign LLC has walked us through the entire process.

Tunnel Vision Design designed and developed a new website for us. We collaborated closely on it through weekly sprints to ensure that everything was how we wanted it to be. We already launched the website, but the team continues to update the site according to our needs.

The project lasted from March–July 2021. However, it would’ve gone much faster if we knew what we wanted from the get-go.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They did a phenomenal job on our website, which was eye-catching yet professional, and we were really proud of it. It had a good flow and represented us well. Thanks to Tunnel Vision Design, we achieved everything we wanted for our website.

How did Tunnel Vision Design LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was excellent. We used emails and phone calls to communicate and Microsoft Word documents to organize the project. They were very responsive, which made it easy to work with them remotely. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Tunnel Vision Design made us feel like we were their priority, and they were genuinely excited to work with us. Additionally, the team was very patient and held our hand throughout the process. Their attention to detail was terrific, too. Overall, they exceeded our expectations.

I’m the managing partner and president of The Lakeside Motel and Resort at Trout Creek, Montana. We host events like weddings and business meetings. We have a gift shop, restaurant, bar, eight motel rooms, eight cabins, a ten-spot boat dock, and boat rentals.

We needed Tunnel Vision’s help in our website, SEO, and IT capabilities. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Tunnel Vision handles everything from our website’s design and operation to our advertising efforts. They’ve redeveloped our website from scratch, giving it a motel room reservation function while also displaying general information about our business. Moreover, they manage our Facebook and Instagram platforms and handle our advertising efforts, be it in the form of posters, pictures of our cabins, or other things of that nature. Their graphic designer designs t-shirts and other things for our gift shop. They also create sweet designs for our restaurant menu, which we redesign 3–4 times a year based on the season.

Further, Tunnel Vision works on our SEO efforts to ensure that our name pops up for Trout Creek searches. Simply put, they optimize our website with keywords like hotel rooms, bookings, boats, events, and others. Those keywords are on the website, and when users click on them, they’re redirected to the relevant page. 

Furthermore, we’ve had problems with our point of sale (PoS) and credit card processor. As a result, Tunnel Vision has set us up with a better security system for our credit card processor, website, and hotel reservations.

I work with both Chad (Graphic Designer) and Jason (Partner). I interface with Chad pretty much every day.

Tunnel Vision was referred to us by one of my younger brothers. We explored other avenues, but they were the best fit for numerous reasons. Since they could navigate our platforms, we decided to work with them. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $40,000–$50,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in June 2017, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

To measure success, we look at Facebook analytics from the pages that host our social media advertisements. We see the video searches and the number of people watching our videos. Meanwhile, Google Analytics also shows us how many people are visiting the website. We find tons of information about customer visitors there. 

From these metrics, we receive a lot of positive feedback. We’re head and shoulders above any other websites like us. Our own Facebook page is also nice. It contains cool videos and pictures of our location, and the page itself is professional. 

How did Tunnel Vision Design LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

The Tunnel Vision team is easy to work with, and their timelines and pricing exceed expectations. We’re happy with the finished product, and our monthly plan gives us peace of mind; it’s worth the cost. Moreover, I don’t have to strictly supervise their work since they manage everything well.  

In terms of communication, we communicate over the phone 95% of the time. They’re always available to communicate with us. If I don’t get a response right away, they’ll email me back quickly. On top of that, I have such a good relationship with Chad that I can call or email him whenever I have ideas. I pass such ideas to them, and they manage everything from there. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their responsiveness is impressive. Unlike our previous website manager, Tunnel Vision can resolve problems — such as changing our restaurant hours — within five minutes. That has been awesome for us. Overall, we have everything pretty much dialed in, and I appreciate their speed in keeping everything up to date. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. Any problem that’s out of their control is on me.

Sign Tunnel Vision up now. Upgrade your website with them so you can drive sales and bring people to your business. If you have a good website, you’ll leave a good impression on customers, especially when you’re in our industry. When you leave a good impression on your customers, they’ll know that your business is well-managed; it will be a place they’ll want to visit.
