What challenge were you trying to address with TRIARE LLC?

We partner with multiple service providers to build out products for our clients. TRIARE LLC is one of our contractors and provides high-quality development work.

What was the scope of their involvement? 

We’ve been working with them for two years, now, and they’ve completed multiple projects with us. So far, everything has been fantastic. We’ve relied on them for iOS/Android development, Ruby on Rails, DevOps, project management, and QA. 

One of the most notable contracts they’ve done was an entertainment app for children aged 6–12. Their team pretty much built everything, working with the client on a daily basis to realize the solution.

What is the team composition? 

Different projects have different needs. Currently, we work with about 12 people altogether, including four project managers, a few US-based technical leads, six developers, and two QA resources. 

How did you come to work with TRIARE LLC?

We found them through Upwork.

We’ve spent about $150,000K so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

The children’s entertainment app started in May 2018, but we’d worked with them since before then. The partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

TRIARE LLC’s work for the children’s entertainment app earned multiple awards against other big-name competitors. Not to mention, the app raised a good amount of funding, too.

From our perspective, they’re just an exceptional, high-potential team that delivers enterprise-level production quality. They follow strong development philosophies and stay accountable for their work. If something isn’t working, they’re quick to bring the situation to light and get the appropriate developer on board to fix it.

How did TRIARE LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

Unlike other vendors we’ve partnered with, TIRARE LLC is great at maintaining accountability. They manage their hours well, bill us honestly, and get tasks done on time if not before. They’re also proficient at using our project management tools such as JIRA.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve met our expectations and go beyond. I’ve worked with many companies and the past, and TRIARE LLC definitely stands out. It’s the patience, availability, and individual care that they provide to every client that’s key.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was a time last year when they were still making small, simple mistakes due to process issues. But we’ve since brought that to their attention and fixed it along the way. Their team is definitely open to training where necessary, so there’s nothing that they need to improve on at this point.

What was the scope of their involvement?

TRIARE developed a web platform on Python that helps our authors layout books. It includes features that help customize book layouts, including the placement of text and images. 

What is the team composition?

I work with one project lead, but a few more people work on our account as well behind the scenes. 

How did you come to work with TRIARE?

They were recommended by a friend of mine, so I invited them in for a pitch and decided to work with them based on their presentation. 

How much have you invested with them?

We've invested between $50,000–$200,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working together since March 2015.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The site they built is performing very well. We're impressed with the level of quality they were able to provide in a short time.

How did TRIARE perform from a project management standpoint?

They always deliver on or ahead of schedule and were great at providing examples of designs and features for us to review throughout development. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They've been great at solving issues and coming up with creative solutions to meet our needs. I'm also impressed by their level of communication. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

It's not really a criticism, but it would help us if they spoke German. They are, however, proactively working to improve communications with our team. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I'd recommend giving them a test project to see if they're a good fit culturally.

I'm a product owner at a manufacturing company. We achieve sustained improvement in the quality of people's lives with innovative sanitary products.

What challenge were you trying to address with TRIARE, LLC?

We needed to create a portal for delivering content. The infrastructure was specified, as were certain technologies required to integrate the application into the system landscape.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

TRIARE, LLC has handled frontend, backend, database design, and API development. The portal is about delivering content, and access is restricted to employees. An important requirement was that the content could be grouped by users and later shared with external parties.

What is the team composition?

We worked with five teammates during the planning phase, two during development, and three during deployment.

How did you come to work with TRIARE, LLC?

TRIARE, LLC was recommended to me by a colleague. The team took the time to understand the requirements and made a well-thought-out and detailed proposal. Everything seemed very professional, and the price was right.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2024, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The users and stakeholders were very satisfied with the solution. We replaced an existing system, so the outcome was not measurable. Progress was demonstrated in review meetings, primarily how the UI looked and functioned and whether the requirements were met or not. The users liked it.

How did TRIARE, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

TRIARE, LLC's project manager is very committed. We communicate via Microsoft Teams.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I'd like to give a shout-out to the project manager.

What did you find most impressive about them?

TRIARE, LLC is professional, committed, and solution-oriented. They're also a great fit for us on a personal level.

Are there any areas they could improve?

A DevOps engineer could have been closer to the developer, or there could have been better communication between them.

During these years of collaboration, our website went through various changes and updates. The initial site that we started with was completely redesigned and redeveloped. We worked on integrations of payment systems for donations, added a custom functionality to support our needs, and simply added various pages to the site.

The work delivered to us was always of a high quality and delivered on time. Also, they quickly understood what we needed and this helped to make the process of working with them smooth.

The manager was the main point of contact however, we always had access to developers. Yes, they always delivered on time.

For what projects/services did your company hire TRIARE, LLC, and what were your goals?

We asked Triare to develop a very basic initial MVP. We did not have our own development team yet, but needed feedback from the market on a product.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Triare is a tech partner of Founder Institute Munich and Boris pitched their offering during one of the sessions. In the end he was able to provide an attractive price.

Development of a web application, in which government organizations can research software products, filter according to their requirements and request login credentials for linked provider websites.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are fully satisfied with the provided outcome.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Dima was the main POC during the project. He spoke English reasonably well and orchestrated the team on Triare side. We included Dima in our Slack workspace, which made communication very easy.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Better English skills of the PM would have been helpful, but this is a very minor deficit.

I am the founder of a marketplace for the sale of agricultural products in Ukraine.

I hired them to develop our website.

What were your goals for this project?

We hoped to provide an online source for comparing grain prices in Ukraine. Further, we wanted to feature a catalog of agricultural companies and compare their prices for delivery.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I learned of them through a referral.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

They designed the website to help farmers and traders in the sale of agricultural products. On the site, users can compare prices of traders for grain and other fruits and vegetables while calculating the distance and cost of delivery. We relied on TRIARE to design the website, develop the frontend and backend, and organize the APIs.

What was the team composition?

We work with one project manager, one coder, and two developers.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We wouldn’t be able to run our business without this website. We are currently a resource for about 200,000 people every month.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We use instant messaging tools, so response time to our questions is minimal. We create and monitor tasks in a shared tracker system, which helps save time and simplify communication.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

TRIARE’s founder is always available and ensures that we receive timely updates. I also appreciate their flexible terms and transparent pricing structure.
