TriangIZ is developing our app for iOS and Android.

We've worked with the two founders and an assigned project manager. When we were at the peak of the development process, they had about 4–5 people working on the app. 

How did you come to work with TrianglZ?

TriangIZ was referred by a friend. I looked at their previous work and found that the team had developed an app that was very similar to what I was looking for. The app they had done was of great quality and worked smoothly, so I thought they were the best choice for this project.

Our company has invested about $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement started in December 2019, but the process slowed down due to COVID-19. They finished most of the work in August 2020 and are currently working on some adjustments.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve had great feedback. Our collaborators have mentioned that customers prefer us over other competitors because of the app’s excellent quality. 

How did TrianglZ perform from a project management standpoint?

TriangIZ's communication is on point and constant. We had some setbacks due to COVID-19, but they’ve done their best to meet deadlines. We communicate mostly through Whatsapp, even though it is not commonly used in Egypt, which is where they are based. They’ve made the effort to adapt to our ways of communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I love that the founders are always available and aren’t hard to reach. The team knows what they're doing and is great at it. I also appreciate the staff’s honesty and attentiveness.

I don’t have anything for them to improve. Everything has been great in my experience.

The team wants their clients to succeed, so if you’re new in the tech industry, you should understand that you have to be flexible with deadlines.

I hired Trianglz to be my technical arm so I am only now concerned with business and sales and support while the complete development and maintenance and deployment is done by Trianglz

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I had in-house team before but it was very difficult for me to handle everything about them while at the same time focusing on business and sales and product management. I am more into the product and I am not a technical expert so I started thinking of the outsouring solution and had different companies. Trianglz was recommended by a friend and they were already doing my mobile app for our product and for their high quality work, commitment and passion of the founders to grow their company, I chose to work with them.

The platform is a learning management system (competing with big players in the market like Schoology or Blackboard) and the service is complete development and maintenance so I have a team at Trianglz of developers, QA team and Yassin (CTO) part time supervising everything.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

While in 2019 i had lots of problems in the product such as its stability (lots of bugs and problems), code quality and both in turn affected our name in the market, now the platform is more than 95% stable, clean code with most of the obsolete code changed and our customers and revenues tripled or even more.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

At the beginning of-course it takes time but they were open and ready and flexible to keep changing and adapting to find the best way and workflow which I believe we managed to have now. I have my planning meetings every sprint withe CTO and the team leader and QA to go through the stories to implement and answer any of their questions and i also have weekly review meeting with the CTO and team lead to make sure everything is on track and answer any concerns/clarifications i have

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They know how to pick and manage very good and committed developers, so their turn over is so low and they are known to be very friendly with the team while also keeping it professional and always evaluating them

I don't think so!

We selected them based on a recommendation from some of their customers. We decided to go for them after we saw their portfolio, met with them in person and requested them to give us a vision of how the website will look like. After we saw a stunning initial quality, we took the decision to go for them.

We requested them to build the company website for Hoopoe Digital. The scope of work included the wire framing, UX/UI design copywriting and web development. The technologies used were mix of different stacks. Through, they mainly use Rails.
