Without the development company, our website would not be up and running. Making all the builders make our website easy to work with and funtctional to our customers.

Not only did the development team have a dedicated project manager (which was not the same with other companies we have worked with in the past), every project is delivered on time and exactly how we wanted. Every problem or change we want was addressed promptly and efficiently. Communication was very important to us and they only exceeded expectations, but made us feel like they were right in the office with us.

This was a big project for us, especially because transferring all of our existing content was tricky due to the old system. They managed the migration smoothly and made sure nothing was lost along the way. Beyond the relaunch itself, the team built custom backend features that really streamlined our internal processes. What impressed us most was how carefully they handled the SEO side of things — one of our main goals was to switch to Shopify without losing any of our rankings, and they pulled it off perfectly. The collaboration has now continued into ongoing maintenance and optimization. Communication has been easy throughout: we had a dedicated project manager, but also direct access to the tech team. Weekly update calls, plus quick replies on WhatsApp and Basecamp, made the whole process transparent and stress-free. Overall, the move to Shopify has helped us significantly reduce risk and costs, while giving us a much more stable and scalable setup. I’d definitely recommend Transpacific to anyone looking to relaunch or optimize their ecommerce website.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The main outcome we were looking for was a smooth transition from our custom-coded site to Shopify without losing SEO performance — and that was a complete success. Our rankings and organic traffic remained stable, which was a major concern going into the project.

Another key result was a clear reduction in risk and ongoing costs. By moving to Shopify, we no longer rely on custom code that only a handful of developers could maintain, and updates are now much easier and faster to handle.

On the operations side, the custom backend features the team built have streamlined internal processes and reduced the amount of manual work needed. This has freed up time for our team and made day-to-day management much more efficient.

Overall, the project delivered exactly what we needed: stability, cost-effectiveness, and a system that supports our growth going forward.

They consistently delivered on time, and when we had new requests or adjustments, they were flexible and found solutions quickly. The combination of structured planning with easy, approachable communication made the whole process smooth and stress-free.

What impressed us most was how they combined technical expertise with a very down-to-earth and approachable way of working. Migrating from a fully custom-coded site to Shopify while protecting SEO was a complex challenge, but they handled it with confidence and precision.

At the same time, their communication style stood out — the mix of having a project manager for structure, plus direct access to the developers, made everything feel transparent and collaborative. It never felt like we were “just another client,” but rather that they were genuinely invested in the success of our project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something TransPacific Software Pvt. Ltd could have done differently?

There weren’t any major issues, but if I had to point out areas for improvement, I’d say that sometimes it wasn’t entirely clear how long certain tasks would take — I had to ask proactively to get that clarity. Also, while Basecamp worked fine, I personally would have preferred a kanban-style project board to get a better overview of progress, priorities, and blockers at a glance.

That said, what really stood out to me was how open the team was to feedback. Whenever I requested a change in how we worked together — for example, adding weekly calls — they were flexible and immediately implemented it. That willingness to adapt to our preferred style of collaboration was a big plus and made the partnership feel smooth and supportive overall.
