We needed a new website and backend CMS system to replace our old and outdated previous versions.

The Totally team is very responsive and flexible in working with our requirements. At times we will have fixed deadlines which they always meet, and others we are more flexible in when tasks need to be completed and Totally are methodical in the scheduling of our work.

Totally joined us to support the development of our website, specifically to improve the user design and the integration with our Salesforce CRM.  Initially, we worked together to boost the integration from the new wordpress website. The team not only enabled a successful integration to provide seamless data connections from online purchases through to our CRM, but also provided clear and helpful advcie to improve the integration.

After this initial project, which included thorough testing and complex processes including ecommerce, donations, recurring payments and memberships, we have undertaken a number of new projects with Totally. These have included creating a new members' area on the site, with exclusive content and downloads and increasing conversions by enabling express checkout options and optimising checkout design.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The biggest outcome for the initial project with Totally was having a successful integration with our Salesforce non-profit CRM. Other projects since have supported this integration by enabling more conversions through improving web design, user experience and back-end functionality.

Totally's project management is great. From regular catch up calls during the specific projects, to consistent updates for any errors or smaller tasks, the team is always available and communicative, sharing challenges and confirming timelines.

I’m impressed with their approach to supporting our organization. As a small team, we often rely on external teams to help us deliver our day-to-day goals, which in turn helps achieve our vision. We see Totally as an extension of our own team, ready and able to work together with us, not as an agency that's detached from our charity's mission.

We had a 164 question paper based benchmarking process which used a five point scoring system broken down into 10 business areas. Each area had a different number of questions and we wanted the questionnaire to be fluid with the ability to add and subtract questions from the area or the questionnaire as a whole. The scoring system was to be percentage based with each section scored by percentage and then the whole scored too. 
As part of each section the score was to be boosted by additional questions if answered. The benchmark was put online in 2012 and has lasted until 2024 with two major iterative upgrades to make the scoring easier and more user friendly (we moved to s three point scoring system and while the first iteration required evidence to be uploaded later version did not). The assessment was also split into two types, assessed by us for a fee and a self evaluation which was free for all members to access. The reporting and collation of these two systems was separate. 
All members who completed the assessment were given an autogenerated report based on templates for each of the ten areas the output of which was determined by how well the member scored on each area. Comparisons with previous completed questionnaires were also possible. In addition to creating the benchmark we need to design access to our member only content based on email domains. Users needed to be able to sign up themselves with their corporate email address (if the company was a member) and the system needed to recognise their email root and assign this user to the correct company and give accessed based on the type of membership that company had purchased. 
The system also needed to act as an FTP download site with certain types of users able to download assigned content. This bypassed the need for DropBox type sites which our members were increasingly unable to use because of compliance and security issues. Finally we revamped our website, we had three products an open to the public, window on the world, a member only KnowledgeHub and the Questionnaire. 
All these products were hosted separately but needed to be brought under one site and look and feel the same. What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

A usable online benchmarking tool was delivered. The project was delivered on time to budget The website complied with our requirements for usability, presentation and accessibility The FTP functionality was successful Our members' employees could sign up to the site themselves and were recognised as employees of individual corporate members. Recognition issues which arose later were ingeniously solved. The site was future proofed for an acceptable period.

Totally.Tech was consistently customer-oriented and solutions-focused. They understand our desire to keep costs down and deliver great value for money. We have collaborated on numerous projects and Totally has generally delivered on budget to the timescales agreed and to the agreed specifications. Scoping time is well spent. Both parties understand what the deliverables are and progress is well communicated throughout the projects. Where compromises need to be made these are fully explained and options explored.
