Borrowers can submit the details of their deal directly on our platform to obtain wider and quicker access to both institutional and private lenders across North America.

Lenders can use the powerful Fundever search tool to filter results based on their current mandates as well as receive automatic alerts on the latest loan submissions that fit their lending criteria.

Rebuild the platform with the objective of monetizing the platform with completion and launch of Version 2.

Torinit was able to produce the best results in a timely and efficient manner.

We needed a new website because ours was outdated.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We showed them a few designs we liked and then they provided wireframes. Their team built our website from scratch. They did backend and frontend development, as well as design. Currently, they’re providing ongoing maintenance and support.

What is the team composition?

There are 3–4 people working on the project, including our main contact, developers, and a designer.

How did you come to work with Torinit Technologies?

We have a shared office space, so we know them and have become familiar with their work. We decided to hire them to do our website.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in September 2019, and the work is ongoing. They completed the development in about a month.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website is very simple, which is exactly what we wanted. It has given the company an updated look. We get a lot of emails through our website, and feedback has been very good. The ongoing support they provide is excellent, and they usually complete changes within 24 hours.

How did Torinit Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

They are very responsive and helpful.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re professional and easy to work with. The initial development was a very fast turnaround, to meet the tight timeline we had. We’re very happy with the work they’ve done.

I'm the CEO of a storage and parking marketplace.

We have a platform that required an upgrade to its UX and a design overhaul. We needed marketplace experts to facilitate.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals were to come up with a new, fresh design for our site plus a much better UX for our users. We needed to add comfort and professionalism to what we do and receive complete designs to begin development.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We were approached by the Managing Director at a pitch event. I was impressed by his tenacity and experience working with other marketplaces. We have issued requests for our project with other vendors but this company felt like they actually cared about providing a good cost for great work.

Describe the project in detail.

Complete rewrite of the Host and Renter journey. We required an upgraded space-management system.

What was the team composition?

We are a team of 10 with the Head of Product and CTO being mostly involved.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We're finalizing our work with Torinit so have no real-world developments yet.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. Their Head of Product, Andrew, is extremely knowledgeable and worked well with our team members. The company owner is open, honest and has a lot of integrity when it comes to costs and output. We haven't seen that often in our space.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their honesty, integrity, and intellect are impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement?

None so far that we can see.

What challenge were you trying to address with Torinit Technologies / Ventures?

We were looking to build our new brand’s online presence, so we hired them to build a new website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

To start, we designed everything ahead of time and gave them our requirements. Their team built the website for us from the ground up using WordPress. Throughout the process, they gave us several views to give feedback on. On the final product, they added several customized features, some for our internal team and others specifically for our clients. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with around seven people from their team. 

How did you come to work with Torinit Technologies / Ventures?

I had met one of the founders of the company and we connected about various technologies. I found him to be a genuinely good person and we’d outsourced other client's work to them before, so they were a natural fit for our project. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $25,000 on the work. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from August–November 2019 on this project.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The site is still fairly fresh since we’ve only launched it about a month ago. However, the feedback we’ve received has been very positive. The customer feedback is really good, so I have no complaints about their work. I’m happy with the work they did. 

How did Torinit Technologies / Ventures perform from a project management standpoint?

From a project management standpoint, they were great. The project manager helped make sure everyone was on the same page and the different departments supported different aspects of the work. It was a pretty smooth process. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I really appreciated their professionalism—they were transparent and honest so I was incredibly comfortable. For those who don’t have a technology background, it’s easy to be taken advantage of, but that didn’t happen in this project. They had an ethical, clear approach that was great. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s no such thing as perfection, but I don’t have any negative feedback—they did a great job.

I’m the director and advisor for a startup tech platform.

What challenge were you trying to address with Torinit Technologies / Ventures?

We had an idea, but we’re not developers and needed a team that would be able to build out the application.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We wanted to create a platform for the gig economy—servicing restaurants, it assists with scheduling, staffing, general operational efficiency, and payment processing. My partner and I were involved in the brainstorming, but they helped s develop the app from beginning to end. After creating a mobile app, they built the landing page for our website. Going forward, we have a lot of plans to add web app features and market the platform with Torinit Technologies / Ventures.

What is the team composition?

I work directly with Dikshant (Managing Director, Torinit Technologies / Ventures). He delegates to a team of 10-15 people, maybe a little more.

How did you come to work with Torinit Technologies / Ventures?

Dikshant was speaking at a luncheon I attended, and he mentioned that he was involved in development. When we decided to launch the project, I reached out and talked to him about our idea.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $560,000 CAD (approximately $430,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in January 2019 and is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

A few of our larger clients have implemented the app within their system and love it. We’re still looking to improve the platform, so we recently had a call to document their feedback so we can implement it going forward.

How did Torinit Technologies / Ventures perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re able to adopt changes very quickly and we get minimal pushback from them. After our most recent round of feedback, they immediately working on it and it should be in place within the week!

We normally call every few days for status updates. Sometimes they bring in developers and walk us through screenshots of what they’re working on through Skype. We use a few other collaborative tools that help us share notes, and we’ve been to their office several times.

We appreciate when they ask for our input or invite us to discuss things, but they make good judgement calls and know when we need to be involved. They’ve handled the project well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

This team is so quick to implement feedback, and when they can’t, they break it down and explain why. Other developers we’ve worked with have a big ego, but Torinit Technologies / Ventures is a collaborative partner and it’s easy to work with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They make changes so quickly that I can’t complain about anything they’ve delivered. They’ve addressed all of our feedback.

Communicate with them. They’re always available.

I’m the COO of TREA365. We’re a desktop and mobile-based software company that caters to the field service industry. Our main offering is an ERP system that comes with nine fully integrated modules and 24 sub-modules.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Torinit Technologies / Ventures?

We wanted to create something with broader functionalities than currently exists in the marketplace. Most field service companies use fragmented systems that aren’t designed to plug and play with each other. We needed someone to help build a centralized platform where users can operate their organizations from cradle to grave. Ideally, it would improve the full lifecycle of a project, from processing quote requests to handling purchase orders or contract management.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Collaboratively, they developed this complex solution for us. In the beginning, we had a small proof of concept that we built for inventory and assets, just to explore the look and feel and how it would be received in a large-scale organization. We discovered that there were tons of areas we wanted to address in the solution and communicated that information to them.

They mapped out the requirements, building wireframes that aligned with our input. After hearing our feedback, they responded with screens visualizing the UX for potential solutions. We thought through user interaction with the screens together. Then, they wireframed and built the entire system using best-in-class technology. 

The final product does everything from managing maintenance schedules to mapping out the proper route to a client with GPS technology. Users are also able to purchase products from various vendors and access receiving slips at an extremely low cost to the end customer. Now, we’re expanding the project to include additional integrations with other technologies that will allow us to scale faster.

What is the team composition?

We had access to everything from their development to executive team. They provided us with everything we needed to move the project along faster in a uniform, collaborative fashion.

How did you come to work with Torinit Technologies / Ventures?

We were aware of their abilities to create sophisticated apps but conducted an extensive RFP of development shops in Canada and the United States. They seemed like the best-suited organization to take on a project of this scale. Not only were they capable of carrying out our requirements, but they were also expanding on our ideas based on their knowledge of the marketplace. That drove the process overall, proving their collaborative attitude and understanding of what we wanted to build. It made it very simple to award the contract to them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started collaborating in 2018, and our teams work together still.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Everything was delivered very quickly, completing the solution ahead of time to exceed expectations. I’ve been in the business for over 20 years and can guarantee that they’re a world-class development and tech company.  

How did Torinit Technologies / Ventures perform from a project management standpoint?

They were able to map out the deliverables and the extent of our dependencies on their team, setting appropriate expectations. If something appeared more challenging than originally planned, they controlled the quality of work and constantly communicated with us, so we all understood how we’d move forward. They ended up delivering ahead of time.

During the development, we had constant access to the development tools they were using to review the work. It gave us insight into any challenges or glitches that they encountered in real-time. That was never hidden from us. Our teams also had open communication with each other. For instance, our business analysts would communicate with their analysts, for a linear, collaborative effort.

What did you find most impressive about them?

There’s a high level of quality and honesty in their work, which is greatly appreciated. Their accuracy was incredibly important, too. When doing a project this large, it’s not unusual to estimate the cost of services incorrectly. However, if we planned on spending a dollar with them, we’d end up owing them 90 cents.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they’re a young, flexible organization that understands critical issues and how to address them. There was a great sense of comfort throughout the development. We’re happy to continue expanding our product with them.
