Project was devided into milestone, which was easy to track if it's done or not. Each task was separate brief and early work was documented in a PoC document. Each step was made one by one, not all at once.

Everything was in writent form, so it was not hard to manage the projects, we had an online meetings before had to discuss all the details and later on written communication channels. The communication was always on point, not only manageres were involved, but also developers, so the communication was smooth. All our needs were covered from their side.

We had only one hicup when the developers changed mid project and it was handeled well in the end.

Tinloof was extremely prompt in their responses. This made understanding how the project was tracking, a breeze. Tinloof provided clear timings and intended task breakdowns in each sprint, and consistently met timelines and deadlines.

The biggest pain point for us with any agency project is communication - getting a prompt response, and a prompt understanding of timelines for both ground teams and stakeholders. Tinloof's timezone was initially a concern (being 10 hours behind us), however, it made no impact to the project. Tinloof were always quick to respond (often within minutes) and equally quick to action and resolve queries.

the exceptional final outcome after the iterations. we are obsessed with the results and every one of our partners love it too. they are great at setting the expectations so you know that there will be iterations until you get to what you really love.

maybe a little bit more video calls to make sure the team who develops the animation is really on board on what we need. sometime things fall through the cracks during chats. sometimes even customers dont know what they need! and during zoom calls, as we talk about what we need, we can also get tinloof's expert opinion and together come up with amazing ideas. but this was something that eventually tinloof handled professionally.

Sanity Plugin: Create a plugin that seamlessly integrates with Sanity, enabling users to export content for translation via Phrase.

Functionality Research: Investigate and determine the functionality of the plugin, which may include: 

• Authentication of Phrase Translation Management System (TMS) within Sanity. 
• Content lookup in Sanity and sending it for localization. Exporting content from Sanity to be translated by Phrase, including references, notes, and metadata as needed. 
• Displaying localization status (Not started, in progress, completed) from Phrase. 
• Offering the choice for users to import translations either automatically or manually (based on research outcomes). 
• Implement error messaging within the app, utilizing error codes from Sanity and Phrase.

Overall, we are very pleased with the Tinloof project, and there are not many areas for improvement to highlight. One potential improvement could have been having recurrent meetings at the beginning to ensure alignment on progress, milestones, and next steps. 
Additionally, Tinloof could have prioritized reaching out to Phrase first for questions and clarifications, rather than going directly to the client. However, we understand that our team sometimes took time to respond, and in those cases, reaching out to the client was the most efficient and timely way to gather feedback.

Tinloof translated an existing landing page into reusable blocks. They then built out additional blocks based on design specifications, and finally converted our CMS into a different, and more comprehensive, interface of their own design: Tinloof Toolkit. This incorporated our needs and elaborated on them with Tinloof's existing knowledge of how a CMS could best function.

We are in the process of building out a large number of landing pages that do not require individual development per page while still maintaining our brand standards.

I found them to be very responsive. While we didn't always end on the exact date planned, it was obvious why, and we were able to extend the timeline appropriately and were never concerned that the work would not be done. It was all completed to spec and with great attention to detail.

Working with Tinloof was a dream. Extremely knowledgable, flexible, and organized, they have been the perfect solution to building a complicated website with a small team. Opening the Tinloof Toolkit for the first time was like opening the perfect gift - it anticipated many of the cms needs that we could not articulate at this point, but with the public appearance that our exacting design had specified. 

Designing a system with folks that have designed many of them before was a huge unlock for us, letting us build the branded experience we wanted with the flexibility of a cms.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Tinloof could have done differently?

I appreciated that they were very clear and buttoned up with their SOW's. I have no suggestions for improvement at this time.

Goalimpact GmbH is a German startup that uses a unique algorithm to identify transfer targets for soccer clubs around the world. I'm the CEO of Goalimpact and the inventor of said algorithm.

Our website was a very simple one and the sales process was very manually. We hired Tinloof to develop a new modern website from scratch that includes a full ecommerce solution for accessing the data by football clubs. The product is very abstract so we needed them to create a design that transport the value proposition clearly and instills trust with the customers.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The main deciding factor was the fact they fully understood the business model we are in and came up with better ideas than our own already during the pitch. We hired them to tell us what we should do and not only as a programmer that implements our ideas.

The project was the full web development chain for a greenfield implementation. We told Tinloof what we need and they - made the design, both web and look and feel and illustrations - videos explaining the value - ecommerce back end - setup the hosting solution - go live on production

Besides the project manager we had support of one designer and one backend developer. Tinloof pulled in additional freelance resources when needed.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project just ended and we do not have final numbers on the sales yet. We do already saw two new potential customers registering (this what not possible on the old website). The website opens up a entirely new value chain, so this would be hard to compare anyways. We are highly satisfied with the results on a qualitative level. Tinloof exceeded our expectations for the quality of design and implementation on many occasions.

The style was very hands-on. From the start they entered a creative solution mode, coming up with suggestion and mirroring them with us. We communicated mainly via Slack and sometimes, if needed, a Zoom call.

That we hardly had to correct their understanding of what we need. With every idea that they came forward with I could feel that they fully understood what we need.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing really. Maybe a stricter separation between test and production. We had to delete some test data from the production system.
