Please describe your company and your position there.

I am a director of a Company that operates Starbucks franchise on American Army and Air Force Bases across Europe

For what projects/services did your company hire TIN ROBOT, and what were your goals?

The objective was to show potential franchisors, what the company has achieved as a Starbucks franchise, its strong relationship with the Bases and its reputation as a first class operator with Starbucks and the Bases. This was to give confidence to well known franchisors the ability of the company to operate franchise to the highest standards in the niche channel of Army and Air Force Bases

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

They came recommended, their other projects were impressive, took the time to understand our objectives and designed the site accordingly. They added value in site designing and also on other aspects of the Company's operation

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We had a kick off meeting to discuss our objectives, the operating environment and what the key deliverable should be regarding the site. As a client we defined what we wanted from the web site and mobile app (ease of navigation, the content, pages etc) and the technical aspects were left completely to Tin Robot

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I worked with the owner of Tin Robot and he pulled the team together as per our requirement. I had one point of contact, which made it easy as Rob, the owner of Tin Robot was responsible for project management and the team that worked on it

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Delivering the web site and mobile app on time within the agreed budget. No surprises. The best compliment I can pay was when various franchisors we contacted for becoming their franchisee, looked at the site and complimented us on a site "its a very nice and professional web site" Comment from a leading brand of Mexican QSR

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Available, willing to explain in detail what will be done, when and the costs. No surprises. When a particular bit of the project was done, the draft was submitted, discussed, revisions made and then the next step. This process was repeated at every stage. Even after the project was completed, TIN ROBOT was available to answer any queries. E mail or phone and they are responsive.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Professionalism, delivery on time and within budget and continuity of relationship even after the project completed. Responsive to any queries within acceptable timings Tin Robot is interested in our development and offer very useful advice on how the development should take place

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In the project done, I would say no. It was thoroughly professional

I’m the director of a task management app for people with health problems.

What challenge were you trying to address with TIN ROBOT?

I wanted someone to translate my ideas into something real. I wanted something that felt fresh and enabling.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The deliverables so far have been brand ideation and making sure our brand is strong. They’ve been involved in selecting all of our colors, fonts, and name. They’ve also been involved in how an advertising campaign might look.

They’ve also helped us come up with a marketing strategy. We’re planning on having them execute our marketing and advertising campaign as well as develop our app.

What is the team composition?

I work with Rob (Founder & Director).

How did you come to work with TIN ROBOT?

I spoke to a friend that developed an app. That person’s friend recommended TIN ROBOT.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent just shy of £5,000 (approximately $7,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2021, and our work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m really pleased with the branding. Everyone has commented on how strong the brand is so far. They’ve completely met my goals; in fact, this project wouldn’t be possible without them.

How did TIN ROBOT perform from a project management standpoint?

They do really well. The team set their own timetable because I didn’t have one.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They foster a very supportive collaboration.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, right now I can’t think of anything. They’ve been really great.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to be willing to collaborate. TIN ROBOT really knows what they're doing. A lot of people tend to have a vision in their head for what they want their company to be. without being marketing or advertising experts. I was very happy to be led. I said what I didn’t like and why. Be collaborative rather than directive, and everything will work out well.
