I'm the owner and CEO of graphic design company RENDART. We specialize in producing marketing materials and 3D renderings for real estate and manufacturing.

For what projects/services did your company hire Time4 Digital?

For couple of years now we were broadening our scope to include website design, print, branding in our offer. We tried working with smaller development firm and freelancers, but they all lack either in skill, meeting deadlines or in standard of communication. This caused as both stress and clients.

What were your goals for this project?

We are working with Time4 Digital on 2 projects: our own website, which was being developed in-house for years and never looked as good as we now it should. And on numerous web-dev projects for our clients, mainly real estate companies.

How did you select this vendor?

I've met CEO of Time4 Digital, Mateusz through mutual friend. We started with 2 web-dev projects that already were in tough spots. Time4 took over the projects and managed to code websites in 2 weeks, that previous web-devs couldn't done in 3 months.

We work with Time4 mainly on web development. We provide the web design and guidelines and they are responsible for coding, CMS configuration, installation on client servers.

We are working constantly with one project manager / key account.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We are able to take as much web design work as we can, and we know there won't be any problems with development.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We added Time4 people to our task management software and cloud folders. They abide by our procedures.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their overall attention to technical perfection is great, even thou we are pretty illiterate in this field and wouldn't even know the difference.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Sure, there always is room for improvements, both from our and time4 side, so that the project run even smoother.

Full support and understanding of problem. Time4Digital gives us lots of ideas, which has saved us a huge amount of time!

I’m the general manager of Feelmotion, a full-service marketing agency. We focus on the sports industry in Eastern Europe.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Time4 Digital?

We signed a contract with a sports TV station for the organization of an Olympics event. We won the tender for the event connected to that, and we had a budget for creating some special activations around sponsors’ products. Time was crucial, and we didn’t have a lot of it for the whole activation. It was a last-minute project, with one week for creating a concept, and a few days for creating a solution.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We received a tablet device from a sponsor, for which we needed to create a children’s application for marketing activation. We ideated the concept of having children draw on the tablets and print their creations. Time4 Digital built the application.

We also had TV screens and stationary running machines, which connected to smartwatches and other mobile devices. The people running on the treadmills could log their scores through an app to see how much ground they would’ve covered from a city in Poland to PyeongChang, South Korea, where the Winter Olympics were held.

They went onsite to each location to check if everything was working properly. It was winter, the installations were outside, and electronic devices can malfunction because of the weather. If we had a problem, they were available to assist us.

We worked with two people including the project manager. They had a team working behind the scenes.

How did you come to work with Time4 Digital?

I’d worked with them a few years ago for another client. Time4 Digital was responsible for the creation of a web application. The team was flexible then and had the best offer for this project.

We spent €12,000 ($13,764 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them in February 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Time4 Digital handled a small portion of the app’s creation and activation process for our end users. The app was only 5% of our budget, but the team’s services resulted in 50% of internal activation in the Olympic village. Overall, their impact on user satisfaction was tremendous.

How did Time4 Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

The team communicated well and completed all tasks on time. It was a last-minute project, and we had only a few days for its creation and implementation. The end customer was satisfied, which was the most important thing for us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The development time was crucial; they took on the project when other agencies didn’t want to work within our expedited timeline. They delivered quality results while being flexible and responsible. It was an important product, and we had no room for error.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. We had a quick 7–8-day implementation and the end client was satisfied.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

They do a good job, but should communicate with clients more proactively, given their significant local competition.

Time4 Digital has built several websites, but has recently focused on frontend development and programs. Occasionally, they deal with our hotel customers directly to implement solutions on the clients’ sites. Projects range from one-off implementations to web development from scratch. The team also redesigns existing sites.

I deal with the owner personally; he forwards all my requests to his team.

I wasn’t involved in the search or hiring process. We engaged them shortly after the founder started the company.

We began working with them in 2015 and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their excellent work enabled us to extend the scope beyond hotel software. In a collaborative approach, we’ve delivered professional applications and perfect websites to our customers. By expanding our customers’ capacities, Time4 Digital has generated more revenue for our team.

How did Time4 Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

It has been an amazing experience. The team is responsive and cooperative. They provide excellent service, which includes quick fixes.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team uses the newest technologies, which helps us improve our products. They are professional and knowledgeable. We value those qualities because we can trust them to communicate with our customers.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They do their job well. I haven’t encountered a situation where they were at fault.

Clients can trust Time4 Digital to build websites and achieve the best possible outcome. Be upfront with ideas, but also listen to their suggestions.

I’m the CEO of Huggity LTD. We’re client management and experiential technology company that works with brands and agencies to connect with audiences during large global events. We’ve worked at both the rugby and soccer world cups and with various clubs across the globe.

What challenge were you trying to address with Time4Digital?

Whenever we reach the limit with our internal resources, we look to certain companies for help. We brought in Time4Digital for assistance, and we started this project with their team a couple of months into the relationship.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

As one of our primary offerings, we provide automation services for larger events. For this project, we were working with the 2018 FIFA World Cup. They wanted to use our FanPic technology at the game. FanPic is our flagship tool. We can capture huge crowds of people in multi-megapixel 360-degree images. Fans can find the pictures, zoom in until they find themselves, then share the visual on social media. The technology is also used for journalistic purposes.

It was a basic project for us, but we needed Time4Digital to help us with several additional development requirements. They worked on the display technology that allowed us to capture 360-degree images. They also developed a CMS to streamline the photo-uploading process. All features are supported by a single interface that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also reliable. We’re working with large crowds, so the tool needed to be able to support a lot of traffic.

What is the team composition?

I believe we worked with a team of 3–4 from Time4Digital, including JavaScript developers and standard HTML coders and designers. Our project manager was Mateusz (CEO, Time4Digital).

How did you come to work with Time4Digital?

An associate from the 2018 Winter Olympics introduced us to Time4Digital. They’d done great work at the event. We could tell that they were an emerging studio that was hungry for success. We decided to give them a try, and it’s worked well so far.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent nearly €20,000 ($22,911 USD) for this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

This specific project lasted from June–August 2018. They completed about 80% of the work within the first 3–4 weeks, the rest of the time was simply managing the technology. We’re still working with them on other projects.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Most importantly, Time4Digital completed the project on time and stayed within the budget. The technical work met all of our expectations in terms of quality and reliability. We didn’t experience a single issue. The team performed well in a very stressful environment. They’ve helped us maintain our high standards and industry reputation, allowing us to grow as a company. We wouldn’t continue working with them if we weren’t extremely happy with their services.

How did Time4Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

We require any company working with us to follow our internal process, which consists of Basecamp for project tracking and Slack for communication. We’re based in Dublin and Time4Digital is based in Poland, so all of the work was done remotely. Despite that, we work seamlessly. There haven’t been any hiccups on either end. They’ve easily joined our workflow and can keep up with our quick turnaround times. Looking at management, communication, and work ethic, everything has been great.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their responsiveness stands out from other development houses I’ve worked with in the past. Their communication is very rigid, but we can still approach them at any time for assistance. Also, the quality of their work is impeccable. We tasked them with some difficult work, and there was a pretty steep learning curve. They handled the challenge with skill.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It’s difficult to criticize a company that performed as well as Time4Digital. I recommend that they continue expanding their technology portfolio. I know that they’ve recently added iOS development, and they’re looking to go into augmented reality.

Any advice for potential customers?

I recommend clients have an established project management system and ask Time4Digital to follow it as well.
