I’m the project communications officer for ERTICO – ITS Europe, a public-private partnership that advances intelligent transport systems and smart mobility solutions in Europe through projects, innovation, advocacy, and by organizing major industry congresses.

We needed graphic designs for various EU-funded projects. We needed fresh, sleek designs for a relatively low price (the projects are funded with subsidies) and the possibility to explain to them exactly what we need and receive something that can be adapted still.

Tigre Rossa Design Agency has done logos, templates, brand identities, concept images, and roll-up banners. The team has created brand identities and concept images based on basic project information.

We first contacted them in October 2024 for the NEXUS project, and the project will end in October 2026.

They deliver on time and respond well to our needs. We primarily communicate via email and sometimes LinkedIn when emails aren’t going through for some reason.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The price-to-quality ratio is amazing, and communication is very easy and smooth.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The Word and PowerPoint templates aren’t perfect, but they’re good enough to work with. The way the styles work could be improved. However, they’re always willing to make them better and open to feedback.

I am the co-founder of Crucò, gastronomy in Sicilia which has an amazing array of delicious cured meats and cheeses, typical products, wines and jams, and gift ideas to offer.

First of all we needed a website to present ourselves on Internet. Then we asked them to other design support tasks.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Through word of mouth. I liked their portfolio. I talked with their manager Alisa who speaks also Italian, which was crucial for me. Of course the competitive price influenced too.

For the website at the beginning, I had no idea how it should be. The team prepared references and a list of our Italian competitors' websites for me, after which it was much easier to decide which kind of information and frames should be there.

We created the structure of the website together. The team then had to create a small database of the most popular and important products which should be displayed. After that, they showed me the sketches for the cover; I liked the style of it immediately, it was exactly what I had imagined.

On the basis of the cover, they created other illustrations. For the products section, I passed them the photos and they had to do some color-editing. After the website, I asked them to help me with ideas for the gastronomy itself, promotion materials, shop windows, etc.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Before I had no website at all so I can't really compare the numbers of visualisation etc. I have received good reviews from our existing customers for the site. And I managed to attract new customers of the younger generation with the offer of sandwiches that we showed on our website

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I've never worked before with design agencies and my first time fortunately was very satisfying. The workflow was easy and friendly, and the team was very attentive to my needs.

They took the time to understand my project and its goals, and then worked together with me to bring it to life. Communication was always clear and timely, and they were willing to provide feedback and guidance every step of the way.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Kindness and professionalism, impeccable work, I was very satisfied. A continuous dialogue made it possible to give shape to the project I wanted.

I don't know really what can be improved, for me everything was perfect

We needed help designing and developing our website; we wanted to paint a clear picture of our company and share information about our story, team, and product.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Tigre Rossa has helped us with three projects so far. First, they helped us design and build our website. We provided them with initial guidelines regarding our design goals, and they created the website from the ground up. They were responsible for the site's visualizations, colors, and information. During this process, they also designed a logo for one of our products. 

For the second project, they’ve been helping us design our private platform. They’ve worked on the UI/UX design and upgraded certain features for users. The team has finished with the UI/UX portion of the project. Now, they’re focusing on web design for the private platform while our team implements and programs the designs. They’ve used Miro and Figma to show us prototypes.

We also just kicked off the third project, where they’re working alongside our marketing agency to collect assets and information.

I’ve been satisfied with the end results, and working with Tigre Rossa has been great. Our developers have been pleased with the team’s ideas and designs, and Tigre Rossa’s efforts have encouraged our team to do their best backend development work. It says a lot that we decided to engage their services further after they completed our website.

Tigre Rossa has performed well from a project management standpoint; they’ve been responsive, timely, and thorough partners. The team has constantly asked for feedback from our customers, and they’ve implemented the necessary changes. They’ve also adapted to our needs quickly. We’re well-versed in software development, but they’re the design experts, so it’s been nice to feel like we can depend on them. 

Additionally, working with them has been easy because they’ve used innovative tools such as GitHub, Trello, and Jira. The tools have enabled us to track progress, review designs, and make comments easily. The technology has helped us understand their development process better. We’ve also communicated via email. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve worked with other service providers, and Tigre Rossa’s approach has stood out among the rest. They’ve worked diligently to meet our needs and execute an efficient process that has relied on our feedback. For example, when we worked with them to design a product logo, they asked several questions and provided multiple design examples to start. Then, they asked for feedback and went through numerous design iterations to ensure we were satisfied with the result.

Firstly we mode 2 calls to discuss goals, content, mood of the leaflets. Then we passed them our text content. After receiving the first page design, made some small corrections and passed to other pages. For the presentation we also asked them to do the video editing with color correction
