I’m the program manager for a nonprofit that trains law enforcement on high-tech crime investigation and mental health and wellness.

What challenge were you trying to address with ThinkThru, Inc.?

I had an idea for a course, and we needed somebody to help us navigate the course from start to finish.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired ThinkThru, Inc. to help us put a synchronous and asynchronous course together. It’s a nine-week course with seven different mental health and wellness topics for law enforcement and first responders. They were tasked with taking all of the content that our subject matter experts had developed and transforming them into a usable online curriculum. They produced and delivered 3–4 videos, which are all 20–30 minutes long, for each week. They edited all of the material and created the associated documents remotely, and they delivered all the course content in modules, which we’re currently uploading to our private LMS.

What is the team composition?

I mainly worked with four people from ThinkThru, Inc., including Matt (Founder & CEO) and Dave (Creative Director).

How did you come to work with ThinkThru, Inc.?

We found ThinkThru, Inc. through a referral.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $135,000 on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from March–December 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

ThinkThru, Inc. was able to take my ideas to an astronomical level and transform them into an amazing product.

How did ThinkThru, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

ThinkThru, Inc. performed well in terms of project management. They were incredibly flexible and dynamic. We stayed on budget, but the project did take a bit longer than expected because of the scheduling of our subject matter experts. That delay didn’t hamper the project at all, though.

We primarily communicated through Zoom, where we had our bi-monthly meetings. They were great communicators throughout the engagement. I also had access to the internal platform they used to organize the documents.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was most impressed with ThinkThru, Inc.’s top-notch communication and willingness to think outside the box. They were always willing to take feedback and make an outstanding product.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. We didn’t have any issues with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Just let them do what they do best.

I’m the SVP of Education of Pathway Lending. We’re a community development financial institution. In my role, I oversee all of our education advisory programs for small businesses.

What challenge were you trying to address with ThinkThru, Inc.?

We were looking at how to expand our services. We wanted to reach more people in new ways and more readily bring our services to people who couldn’t come to the in-person classes.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, they spent a lot of time understanding our needs, our strategies, and how our systems work together. They got to know who we were what we were doing. The team provides consulting for our learning management system. That includes integrations into our systems. We hired them for implementation as well.

What is the team composition?

We work closely with Matt (CEO) and Lenny (Business Development Specialist).

How did you come to work with ThinkThru, Inc.?

We were working with a project manager consultant on another project and she recommended ThinkThru, Inc. We had several discovery meetings with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested $40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement started around February 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They are hands down, the best external project managers I’ve worked with. ThinkThru, Inc. is thorough and they have a deep understanding of our organization. They came in with such great institutional knowledge that helped us stay on the mark of what we financially expected.

How did ThinkThru, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re exceptional at project management. We have weekly check-in meetings and had whiteboard sessions.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They make themselves accessible during the implementation. Nothing ever lagged. If anything wasn’t moving forward or following the timeline, it was never because of them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, nothing comes to mind.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Take advantage of the time they spend up-front. Make sure to give them the information they need; it’ll really pay off.
