I’m the owner and a managing partner for MS Investments, a real estate company. We work in the buyer side of real estate.

What challenge were you trying to address with Thinkitive Lab?

We hired them to set up an international website for us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Thinkitive Lab developed our website from scratch. Initially, we provided them with a brief. They asked us to give examples of real estate company websites we liked and our cooperation partners' websites. 

Our main goal was to make the site as simple as possible so that any customer could understand our services. Since we work with buyers and not sellers, it was important for customers looking into real estate in Europe to find our primary services easily. Secondly, we wanted the site to look very professional. We wanted future customers to understand we didn't set our company yesterday. Additionally, we asked Thinkitive Lab to make a good-looking website.

Thinkitive Lab created a template for us to make offers for the customers. The team also offered us CRM development, but we didn't opt for that because our customer database wasn't large enough yet.

What is the team composition?

I worked with three teammates from Thinkitive Lab: Rihards (Business Development Executive), Andrejs (Owner), and a web designer. 

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I want to highlight Rihards and Andrejs, who were involved in the project from the beginning. Additionally, I only met with the web designer once, and she was clear on what I wanted; I chose one of the options she presented me with, which was great. 

How did you come to work with Thinkitive Lab?

We were looking for a provider that could set up our website professionally and knew all the details needed. I had a contract with a Scandinavian bank and worked with car vendors, and someone in that space knew Andrejs because they studied together. From there, I contacted Thinkitive Lab and told them what I was looking for. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around €8,000–€9,000 (approximately $8,700–$9,800 USD) before VAT.

What is the status of this engagement?

The web development lasted from November 2022–March 2023. Currently, Thinkitive Lab provides us with additional services, such as hosting, updates, and monitoring analytics. We'll hire them to make small changes to our website and perhaps to work on marketing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

If you search for investment or MS on Google, there are about a billion results, as they’re popular keywords, yet our website is on the first page of Google search results, around number seven. Thinkitive Lab achieved this within a 3–4-month period, which was amazing. Thanks to Thinkitive Lab’s work, I can point customers to our website, and they can easily find us. These results happened even without us promoting our website. We’ll set up our LinkedIn, which will help us even more. 

When they asked for website examples, I sent the website of one of Europe's biggest real estate companies and our partners’ websites. Thinkitive Lab advised us about what we didn’t want to emulate from those examples.

How did Thinkitive Lab perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered on time. I’m not that strict with deadlines, so Thinkitive Lab set up their deadlines when they planned the project phase by phase. I had a year to create the website, so the timeline the team offered was fine with me. 

We had regular meetings to discuss the details, and they came back to me only when they were completely finished with a task. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Thinkitive Lab took care of every detail, providing us with full service. The team set up their own timelines and kept their promises. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was nothing they needed to improve. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you want a good-looking website, I recommend Thinkitive Lab. Their timelines are very short, and they deliver nice-looking work. If they promise to deliver by a certain date, they will. Moreover, you don’t need to push them — they'll provide feedback and keep you informed.

I’m the CEO of an on-demand car wash application specializing in eco-friendly car washes.

We’ve hired Thinkitive Lab for mobile application development. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’re collaborating to develop iOS and Android applications. They are also helping us with website development to keep track of how many active individuals we have at any given minute. Thinkitive Lab has been responsible for front- and backend development and UX/UI design. 

They are developing the functionality and workflow of the applications. The key technology we use for iOS development is TypeScript. The application is almost finished, but we’re waiting on another round of funding to continue.

We’re primarily in contact with three people. 

How did you come to work with Thinkitive Lab?

They were a recommendation. We asked around, and about eight companies were brought to our attention; after talking to everyone, we felt Thinkitive Lab was the best choice because they were interested in our product, and we liked their approach. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent a little bit less than $200,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in July 2019, and the engagement is ongoing.

We’ve been happy with their work, and they understand our ideas. 

How did Thinkitive Lab perform from a project management standpoint?

They always stay on budget and are good about delivering things on time. If items are not completed within the deadline, it’s typically because of something on our end.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

We’d like to shout out Andrejs (Owner) and Gints (CTO). They are very responsive and listen to what we need. They give great advice and have been transparent about what they think will work and what won’t. They have a professional vision of the application user flow, which has been great. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We can’t come up with anything specific, but there is always something to improve upon. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’ve been impressed with their straightforwardness and knowledge about what we need. Thinkitive Lab takes challenges head-on, which is something we appreciate about them. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

We’ve recommended that other people use them because Thinkitive Lab won’t disappoint. We’d recommend that individuals know what they want and try their best not to change the plan in the middle of everything because that will keep the cost down and save time.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The main goal was to create a high-quality designed website that matches our brand. Our restaurant will have a grand opening in a few days, and we will soon launch the website till then. Thinkitive lab recommended some good design patterns that could match our restaurant, and they gave us very good prototypes of how the layout will look like. The success was a visually powerful and branded website.

Yes, everything was delivered on time. Now we wait for the website to be live before the main opening.
