Terra served as Bold Penguin's creative and web agency partner for a full company rebrand and website rebuild. The project covered the new site architecture, design, and page-level copy for every major audience and product we serve: brokers and agents, carriers and MGAs, carrier-owned distributors, submission ingestion, Market Access, Market Intelligence, and DeX AI. Terra worked alongside our marketing and product teams so that messaging stayed accurate for a complex commercial insurance audience. The work extended into launch support, including creative for our Agentic platform campaign.

Key deliverables: 

1. Rebrand and new website. A redesigned site delivered on time, launching September 24, 2026 alongside DeX AI.
2. Page design and copy collaboration. Design and copywriting for the homepage and each audience and product page, including headlines, subheaders, section copy, and stat and testimonial placement. Their copywriter iterated with us through multiple rounds of feedback.
3. Copy QA process. A shared copy tracker and feedback document that kept page ownership, revisions, and stakeholder decisions organized across a large multi-page build.
4. DeX AI homepage video storyboard. A storyboard that turns a technical AI product into a clear, visual story for the homepage video.
5. Launch creative. LinkedIn, Google and Youtube ad creative for the Agentic platform campaign.
6. Ongoing creative support. Delivered creative assets as needed (conferences, organic social media, etc.)

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

1. The rebrand, new website, and DeX AI launched together on September 24, 2026, with the DeX AI press release live the same day.
2. Terra's always-on paid media plan went live September 28, with a defined structure: LinkedIn builds demand, Google captures it, and the single conversion goal is demo requests across three audience tracks.
3. Launch-ready creative and copy were delivered for both channels, including Google and LinkedIn ad briefs and a launch week asset set.
4. The site shipped with consistent messaging across all audience and product pages, including FAQ content on seven pages.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Cate was incredible. She ran a dedicated shared Slack channel with our team, and used a shared copy tracker and feedback document to manage revisions across a large multi-page build. She always followed up when things fell through the cracks (on our side), and made a stressful project very enjoyable to work on.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Terra ran a well-organized process for a large, multi-stakeholder project. They assigned a dedicated project manager, kept a shared Slack channel active for day-to-day questions, and used a copy tracker and feedback document so revisions and page ownership stayed clear. Revisions were always made quickly, and their communication was excellent.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Terra could have done differently?

If I had to do it all over again, I would connect the copywriter with the SMEs directly from the start, so we weren't scrambling to get feedback from them towards the end of the project. This feedback applies to Bold Penguin's workflow, but could be helpful for Terra on future projects!

Terra took some broad suggestions about our goals for an ad campaign and presented a number of creative options. Upon our decision on which one to focus on, they worked with us to refine language and design, and then delivered a collection of print and digital ads.

They developed ads that ran in hundreds of newspapers, magazines, and news sites, that drove thousands of calls and emails to Congress.

They consistently met deadlines and were extremely responsive to outreach, both in the planning and deployment phases, as we asked for small tweaks and new sizes of the ad.

We enjoyed working with Meche and Maria and their team to set clear goals, deliverables, and time expectations. They were very responsive to our edits and for sharing revised versions for when we were presenting the annual report to executive leadership for their review. Their customer service was excellent, and we appreciated their responsiveness.

Terra’s scope of work for GFCR included website development, web design, headless development, branding, and support to the digital architecture of REEF+, a community/knoweldge management platform. The agency developed a cohesive visual identity and digital experience aligned with GFCR’s mission, using reef-inspired imagery and clear messaging. Key deliverables included:

• design and development of GFCR’s website and REEF+ platform components
• a scalable and flexible content architecture
• custom administrative controls
• integrated analytics, expert profiles, interactive maps, and modular features to support solution discovery
• impact tracking

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Terra has done a fantastic job working on our project, and it is a pleasure to work with them.

The project resulted in the successful development of an expanded digital presence and centralized REEF+ platform for the Global Fund for Coral Reefs. Measurable outcomes included:

• On-time delivery of website (despite a really rushed one-month time frame)
• On-time delivery of a scalable, role-based platform connecting dozens of organizations across continents
• Continued management and upgrading of this platform

Together, these outputs are crucial for GFCR’s ability to share knowledge and track progress across its global conservation and blended finance portfolio.

Terra’s project management has been consistently strong and reliable. The team develops clear plans for each phase of work, communicates regularly through email and scheduled calls, and consistently delivers items on time. They have been highly responsive to GFCR’s needs, including adapting quickly to feedback, addressing requests promptly, and providing practical solutions when new priorities or adjustments arise. Overall, Terra has been a dependable and proactive partner, with a collaborative approach that has helped ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I found most impressive about Terra was the strength of their design skills and their ability to translate our needs into a visually compelling and user-friendly digital experience.

Their design approach felt highly unique because it combined strong creative direction with a deep understanding of GFCR’s mission. 

I am also especially impressed by Terra’s quick problem-solving and technical adaptability. As GFCR’s needs evolve, Terra is consistently able to propose practical solutions and quickly adapt platform features.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Terra could have done differently?

No, Terra is a professional and competent organisation.

I would certainly want to work with Terra again to design another project.
