I work for a company called Brain Fit Imaging that developed a method to look at brain signals and monitor cognition.

What challenge were you trying to address with Technosoft Solutions?

We needed someone to develop a web portal to support our method.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Their team created the framework, which allows clinicians to upload data following a brain scan and receive reports. Technosoft Solutions did their work in AWS mostly. After doctors upload the information into the web portal, the data can be run through our proprietary algorithm to create reports. They provided us with monthly feedback and the charges and how the hours were spent.

What is the team composition?

After our initial discussions, the founder assigned us a project manager who I contacted most but I interacted with at least three people directly. 

How did you come to work with Technosoft Solutions?

I found Technosoft Solutions through Upwork. I posted a job and got several proposals. Technosoft Solutions fit our budget and the founder made it clear that he knew what to do in our conversation. We had an initial chat when he described what Technosoft Solutions could do for us. Once we agreed on what they would do, they provided an estimate.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent close to $13,000 with Technosoft Solutions.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the project in December 2018. That project is done, but we’re in talks about working on another project for another company.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

In the end, we got a perfect product. From our perspective, the portal does exactly what we want so the feedback has been great. We don't have feedback from the market because we're still looking for clients.

How did Technosoft Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

The process was great. I had frequent phone conversations with the founder and communicated with the project manager by e-mail. They provided weekly reports but anytime I had questions, their team answered the same day.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They communicate with their clients well. Technosoft Solutions understood exactly what we wanted.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we were completely happy with the solution.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

We didn't know what we would get because their quote was below that of other providers. However, we got a perfect product that was a lot cheaper than anything else.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the COO of a small software development company that combines hardware and software to deliver solutions that make a meeting and instructor-led training interactive and measurable.

For what projects/services did your company hire Technosoft Solutions?

We needed to replace our old developer who wasn't able to deliver on a stable, working PowerPoint software, but over time, we hired Technosoft to develop and manage the process of developing a new set of Windows desktop (.NET) apps, as well as web apps (Azure-hosted). Today, they are managing three separate, ongoing projects for us.

What were your goals for this project?

We are building a training content management platform, integrated with desktop "polling" apps that collect responses from our wireless hardware (clickers) and sync the data with client's LMS. This is an ongoing relationship and continuous development effort.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Technosoft was one of the bidders on Elance (now UpWork) that responded to our job offer/project. Their CEO, Anis Siddiqy spoke fluent English and his team was extremely knowledgeable when we compared them to at least 5 other providers.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

This almost 10-year relationship started with a complete rebuild of our .NET plugin for PowerPoint. Later on, we added more .NET apps, a complete rebuild of our hardware API, and eventually we went to Azure and built a web-based app that syncs with the desktop.

What was the team composition?

Anis always made sure that he's available to us if needed, but we also had a dedicated Project Manager and two or three developers. We always changed the actual number of team members according to our budgetary limitations and current workload. Currently, we utilize two separate developers, two project managers and a set of QA temps.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We were able to turn around our not-so-great reputation with the PowerPoint plugin, as it used to be very slow and unreliable. They also rebuilt the web-based app to function much, much faster and built new features that brought a few clients on board that we otherwise wouldn't have gotten.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Technosoft turned our disorganized project management around by introducing us to JIRA - which we have used before, but abandoned. They created a project management structure for us that was easy to follow and we have been using it ever since. Ever since then, we never had issues with tracking issues, releases, etc.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The responsiveness of the whole team is amazing. They are great communicators and respond when we need them most. Even last-minute.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I wish they were States-side, but I can't change that... Otherwise, I just wish I could hire more of their devs and get things done faster.

I’m the CEO of Csymplicity Software Solutions, the leading healthcare IT company that specializes in patient triage solutions.

We hired them to help us develop our innovative BurnHelp app.

What were your goals for this project?

Our main goal was to develop an intuitive mobile platform for efficiently triaging burn patients between referral centers and burn centers.

How did you select this vendor?

I reviewed over two dozen companies and their capabilities. Technosoft Solutions had all the skills that my company needed for the development of the platform.

Describe the project in detail.

Technosoft Solutions developed the BurnHelp mobile app for both Android and iOS platforms. They also created a web interface and heavily relied on HIPAA grade security features.

What was the team composition?

The team consisted of a project manager, two iOS developers, two Android developers, one .NET developer, and five QA specialists.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I couldn’t be happier with my choice of vendor for this project. Technosoft Solutions delivered on time and within budget. Their support, expertise, and customer service is the best I have ever experienced.

Our workflow was seamless. Technosoft Solutions is very easy to work with.

We can all improve, but for the most part, Technosoft Solutions is at the top of their game.
