We have a purely Angular frontend, so the technology they used included Java, JavaScript, and Angular. The corporate site is a WordPress site, and they used PHP for that.

We had one full-time frontend developer, and 2–3 people working on the corporate site.

We started working together in the first quarter of 2017. They were still engaged with the company when I left in April 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our primary objective was to find a highly skilled frontend developer who fit into our team and could contribute immediately. They delivered a dedicated resource who stuck with us, which is unusual in my experience with outsource companies. They were an instrumental part of our development team, and made up about a quarter of our resources.

We asked them to contribute to the corporate website with very little notice. Even within a very short timeline, they executed everything with excellence and got the site up and running quickly.

We used GitHub, Trello, Slack, and Skype to manage the project and communicate. They were familiar with all those technologies, but we gave them access to our internal channels.

I had a great relationship with them. They’re committed to doing a good job and building their business, and I don’t have anything I would note as an improvement opportunity for them.

Technorely first analyzed our current app’s performance. The team then offered to create two apps with separate functionalities to support the business-logic of drivers and warehouses. The new apps have improved performance and new features; for example, it can scan an order at each step of the delivery process, generating automatic notifications of a successful delivery or a special case. It also allows interior designers, retailers, and vendors to get an instant quote for delivery based on location.

We worked with a backend developer and an Android developer.

The updated apps allow us to provide quicker support and more efficient delivery. We can also send reports more quickly.

The team was highly communicative from start to finish. They delivered high-quality products quickly.

Staff augmentation follows our own internal processes however integration from a billing and HR perspective was frictionless.

The people that we've hired through Technorely Inc. are some of the best engineers I've worked with. I would look to hire them again and again if available.

In the rare circumstance where a person didn't work out, the process for offboarding should be better defined.

We needed an MVP for our mobile app.

We wanted the MVP to be compatible with Android and iOS devices.

We found Technorely through LinkedIn.

We gave them our designs for the app, and they develop the MVP based on those. They developed features for registration, verification, and creating, answering, and viewing surveys. The app was built using React Native. They have continued to add more features and implement our feedback.

We had a dedicated project manager and work with both a mobile and backend engineer.

Their ability to take our suggestions and make improvements, even after they completed the project, is valuable.

It could be helpful to start streamlining the process earlier on because it could ensure quicker updates to the code and avoid issues.

I'm the CEO of Skyglyph, which develops cloud-based software for assets monitored by drones. Insurers can use Skyglyph to detect and assess crop and property damages from images that are collected by drones, satellites and even smartphones.

Within three months of the project beginning, our new app was launched. It is now used by three large corporations, employing remote sensing and drones to monitor their assets.

We have online communication with Technorely team every day via phone, Slack, Telegram, and Zoom. We had no issues with communication at all.
