I’m the manager of a food distribution company. We deliver products to stores to help them keep the proper items in stock and manage their products easily.

We were expanding and needed a solution that would help us take orders from businesses trying to maintain their stock. The solution had to be user-friendly.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed a mobile app from scratch. After developing the design, they started working through a phased development process.

The app is available to our representatives that are going to are users stores and seeing what products they need. They collect the orders from store owners and create new orders using the app. After the product is delivered, we can collect payment inside the app. The app also has an admin panel, which displays payments by the end of every day.

We can also pinpoint the location of each store through the app and update the order at every stage of the process. In terms of insights, we can see how many orders each store places, as well as the specific types of products each store orders. Additionally, the app has an audio chat feature.  

What is the team composition?

I don’t know the exact number, but since the first day, I interacted with a project manager, 2–3 mobile developers, two other developers, and two designers.

I checked their reviews on their website and Google. A friend of mine knew their company well and had created a mobile app with them, and he hadn’t experienced any bugs or flaws.

We spent around $100–$200.

We worked together from January–March 2021.

They took on the responsibility of delivering on time and followed through.

They accomplished each phase. I tested the app personally, and there weren’t any crashes, flaws, or mistakes. Some users have ace incompatibility issues, but they’ve been addressing those. They had a clear understanding of the flow we wanted.

How did Techno Tackle Software Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They kept the project and deliverables progressing on time. If there’s any doubt about a delay, they’ll let me know and proceed with a solution. If I need anything now that the app has launched, I can ping the project manager and he’ll explain it to his team to get it fixed. We communicated over Google Meet.

The most impressive part of working with them were the suggestions they made to improve the app.

No, I don’t think there’s anything they could have done better.
