Bi-weekly sprint planning tracked development milestones in a very organized way. The mobile application has been developed in a systematic way and design and functional requirements have been satisfied.

Throughout the year, we worked closely with our development team on a daily basis to design, build, and iterate on a scalable, cross-platform application supporting iOS and Android, alongside a web-based admin platform. The product was built using Flutter for cross-platform development, with Firebase, Cloud Functions, and supporting infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.

The focus was on delivering a fully robust feature set that supports real-world usage for families, sitters, and administrators. This included careful attention to core workflows, edge cases, performance, and long-term maintainability. Development followed an iterative release cycle, with major feature releases throughout the year and scheduled updates approximately every six weeks.

A significant milestone during this period was the successful launch of in-app payments powered by Stripe, enabling secure, seamless payment processing directly within the mobile application. Alongside payments, we continued to thoughtfully design and develop features that improved scheduling, booking, communication, reporting, and admin oversight.

The project remains active and ongoing, with a structured roadmap and regular release cadence that allows for continuous improvement, scalability, and feature expansion.

Project management was strong and highly collaborative throughout the engagement. We worked very closely with their project manager on a daily basis to map out requirements, create and refine Jira tickets, and plan each release in detail. This hands-on collaboration helped ensure clarity, alignment, and efficient execution across the team.

Deliverables were consistently completed on time, with releases sticking closely to planned timelines and minimal disruption. When unknowns or unexpected items arose, the team communicated clearly and adjusted quickly without derailing progress. They were highly responsive to our needs, proactive in addressing questions or changes, and flexible when priorities shifted.

We needed help to develop a couple of platforms to help support our software ecosystem, so we were looking for a partner with expertise in mobile and web development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

TBR Group has been helping us with web and mobile app development. We’ve started by providing them with our software requirements for the platforms, like the features we’re looking for. In addition, we’ve given them Figma prototypes so they can build the products accordingly.

Regarding features, the mobile app has remote patient monitoring functionalities and connects with thermometers, blood pressure, and glucometer devices. The systems also allow users to take a screenshot and upload that information. The web application has portals for administrators and physicians to look at the patient's information, like trends or even alerts, in case the user’s signs are out of range.

Currently, they’re taking care of the platform’s maintenance and support.

We needed to develop features for our Social media app 'musikian'. We were looking to find a really good Flutter developer who would be able to achieve an ambitious list of features as part of our launch. We needed a very good Flutter vendor who knew the Flutter platform really well and would be able to develop the app features to a high degree of quality.

We searched through Upwork to look for a number of developers that had very good reviews and testimonials. That was our biggest criteria for awarding the project. We found the portfolio of Flutter apps that TBR group had done was really good and the testimonials they had received were all 5 star reviews which gave us confidence in their abilities. After an initial interview and introduction to my project goals, I was convinced that they were the best placed vendor to deliver my project.

We had a number of key features that needed to be delivered included chat messaging, sharing, redesign of the UI, Authentication, analytics & crashlytics, discover profiles, featured profiles and an admin panel. These were all very different and required Firebase hosting, Firebase Cloud messaging, Firebase dynamic links, Firebase functions and Firebase storage.

The team implemented all features that were to be delivered to a very high standard including making room for specific requests which were not in the original scope like using like Firebase functions to implement photo resizing and backups. They went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied with the delivery and ensured that the product was built to a very high standard that I was happy with.

My project had a lot of complex features that needed to be implemented. Right from kick off, the team was well organised and very professional. They created a clear estimate timeline of milestones for each feature and delivered in time to all milestones to a very high standard of quality.
