I’m a customer service representative at Herald Wholesale, a lighting and bath showroom. We offer a wide selection of high-quality fixtures and expert guidance to homeowners, designers, and contractors for new builds, renovations, and updates.

What challenge were you trying to address with TAZ Networks, Inc?

We needed help running and servicing our complete computer system.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

TAZ Networks, Inc has installed and maintained 17 computers, three servers, and one site two off-site. The team has also installed and maintained our software program to run our day-to-day business and helped us when issues come up concerning anything computer-related. In addition, TAZ Networks, Inc has handled our network setup, cybersecurity, and data backups.

The owner knew one of the people who used to work at TAZ Networks, Inc several years ago. We chose them because they had high ratings, their pricing fit our budget, they offered good value for the cost, and their company values aligned with ours.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with TAZ Networks, Inc in September 2006, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since TAZ Networks, Inc continues to be our IT support, this is not really a project but an ongoing working relationship. The team always finds a solution that works for us to fix any issue that might come up. For example, a couple of years ago, our server died, and TAZ Networks, Inc worked around the clock to get us back up and running and put in extra safeguards to ensure that this never happened again. The team has also come out after hours to help with software upgrades so they could be done while we didn’t have customers in the store. These are just a couple of examples of their amazing abilities.

Moreover, the security that TAZ Networks, Inc has put in is helping keep out the spam emails, and we have very little system downtime unless it’s caused by power outages, which they can’t control. However, the team also monitors those and keeps us updated.

How did TAZ Networks, Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

TAZ Networks, Inc delivers on time and keeps us updated every step of the way. We communicate with them through in-person meetings, email, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

TAZ Networks, Inc is very knowledgeable, does what they say, and always finds a way to fix the issue correctly and as fast as possible while keeping us informed along the way.
