I am a co-founder of Emed4all kft, creating remote patient monitoring solutions based on arterial pulse wave analysis. I wrote the automatic analyzer engine and Tappointment added the surrounding parts of the system, like the mobile platform, the cloud-based database solution and the web-based UI.

For what projects/services did your company hire Tappointment, and what were your goals?

Tappointment as our strategic supplier helped us from the concept proof phase to the product development. Our goal is to create a state-of-the-art data driven solution for the fitness industry and later on for healthcare service providers as well.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Reference from colleagues and culture fit. Zoltan had reasonable added value to the product strategy already on the very first meeting.

We have created together a complex system from scratch. Tappointment has delivered the mobile applications on iOS and Android that gathers the DataStream from the client’s pulse oximeter via Bluetooth and forwards it to the cloud. The cloud app stores the measurements in the database, calculates the physiological parameters and displays the results embedded in a thin web client. We have created the customer management, the registration flow, payment gateway integration, role management, integrated multi factor authentication and made sure, that the data protection meets the required standards.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

It was impressive that Zoltan as the CEO also helped with the business planning with his professional experience so that the end result was commercially scalable and sustainable. Gabor as CTO and chief architect is my most important counter partner in technical details. Without his contribution, we couldn’t have created such a rock-solid system. We are in direct contact also with programmers according to their needs. A team of 4-8 people works continuously on the project from the vendor's side.

The market feedbacks up to now are really positive specially in terms of design, usability and stability.

We use quite a wide range of communication platforms like Zoom, email, phone, MIRO, Figma, and meetings on regular basis. Project Management style was agile.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their enthusiasm and commitment are fantastic. They are always available for us, and give their best in each phase of the development.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Maybe the cost estimation process could be a bit faster and simpler.

I'm the Client Services Director for an experiential technology agency in the UK. We design, create and operate brand activations based on our platform of apps.

We hired Tappointment to support the ongoing development of our platform, with the goals of evolving our existing backend solutions and helping our team to produce ever-more exciting front end interfaces.

We considered Tappointment along with 2 other potential agencies. e were looking for an off-shore team to support our in-house team as we entered the next phase of our business after being acquired. We were looking for a long-term partner who could feel ownership of the solutions we would build together, along with the ability to provide expertise on DevOps and out-of-hours support.

Tappointment first supported the transition of our AWS-based platform to Azure to fit in line with our acquirers' systems. Their team quickly learned the structure of our Electron based apps, and how they each are structured together to create multi-step user journeys, combining our PHP/Symfony3 back-end with front-end packages such as NodeJS and React.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Working within the physical product space, supporting with brand events, retail store openings etc, we always have specific and un-moveable deadlines. The Tappointment team are always capable to provide realistic timelines and keep the in-house up to date with progress.

Together we have delivered 30+ technology experiences to a high standard, combining content capture, gamified user journeys and guest management - reaching hundreds of thousands of consumers and processing millions of data points.

There is a short standup at the start of each day to ensure everyone is aligned with priorities, we then use Jira for task management, as well as Slack with key project stakeholders based on the ongoing nature of our partnership.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

As a physical events-based agency our workload can increase and decrease by season (especially during previous concerns of another Covid-19 wave). Tappointment have been supportive of this and we have an agreement that means we can increase/decrease resource at key moments. Tappointment is a real partner who has helped us to overcome challenges and communicate in a way that means non-developers can take part in building solutions together.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We have had a number of different teams and individuals allocated to our account. While the first 'changeover' of staff felt uncertain at the time, Tappointment have created an onboarding process that now allows new developers to join the projects and quickly take an active role in building features.

I'm the founder and CEO of a digital agency - web platform for sport sponsorships.

For what projects/services did your company hire Tappointment, and what were your goals?

Our website need to handle lots of profils of professional athletes, sport clubs or sport events and different companies, who can be the sponsors of the sport profiles. Needed to make the searching, offering, payment and contracting systems, so everything can be done online now.

We selected them because of their enthusiasm, their previous references, their professional attitude and constructive ideas towards the project. It was a great athmosphere at their office as well and their interest and connections to our industry (sport) helped too.

We progressed in several development stages and after they finished with one a great presentation came, so we always saw in action that they made. It was well scheduled and flexible. As product features we needed profiles, payment method, searching through profiles, making offers from one to the others regulated by a flexible contract, accepting donations for the profiles, KYC.

We usually keep contact with the team leader, their project manager, but we get to know some of the developers as well.

The feedbacks from our users is that it is easy to understand, smooth and looking good.

We are very satisfied with their flexibility and their time accuracy in the mean time. As promised, they delivered.

That we get exactly what we asked for and it was always good to visit them at their nice, modern but still user-partner friendly office.

Maybe in design, but they created exactly what we asked, even if we needed to change because our mindset about the design was not ready and good. So because they are really at a very high quality in any other aspects, I could only say this.

Mostly I was in touch with Johanna, she sent me weekly plans and projects, which were always delivered in time and carried out perfectly. She helped us create many quality materials which are in daily use since than, and gave us an opportunity to be independent with our creative material in the future as well.

This part is most important for me, because we didn't just get a well delivered job, but our cooperation taught my team how to deliver quality work independently in the future.

Johanna B. was the main person we kept in touch with, and my husband, being in charge of the IT part of our business worked a bit with two members of sitebuild team.

Yes, definitely was of use, although in our kind of business (network marketing) the progress comes from many different small details.

Communication, diplomacy, timeline and tools were absolutely thorough, perfect, Johanna made sure to explain everything from the basics which I was not familiar with.

Johanna's enthusiasm definitely, she worked on our project as if it was her own :) Thanks for that, gave me lots of extra power as well...

As far as my involvement is concerned, could not think of improvements, my connection with the person in charge, Johanna B., was impeccable.

I am the owner of a framework "Humanize IT" that helps engineers have business conversations with clients. Our tool and membership program allow for easy communication with education to change the narrative.

Migrating our site from angular to REACT, while adding on new modules. This allowed our tool to reflect the goals of the company to help our members have more meaningful client conversations and increase our marketshare.

We have seen a significant decrease in time to close for new members. We are also getting a fair amount of publicity for our new sleek design.

Their design and turnaround times are fantastic.
