We are working on a new idea for one of our business partner to offer users to bring restaurant to their home with an unique approach by getting their favorite cuisine prepared right into their kitchen. We planned to outsource experts in the field who can understand our idea and develop a web app with unique design.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to create a web application for the idea we are working on and the design should be unique and easy for the user to navigate.

We search on the internet for best application development company and list out top 5. We went through each company and the work they did in the past. Out of all we found Taazaa as the best candidate to pull our idea into reality.

Once we selected this vendor, we had a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals and objectives. In the very first month we received mockups and 3 initial designs for the main page.

After few iteration and discussions, we finalized the design and provide feedbacks on how we want the rest of the site look. The vendor come back to us with wireframes and concept for other pages. We proceed with the design and work on features to develop to make website user friendly.

What was the team composition?

Initially we were assigned a project manager to support us and serve as the main point of contact throughout the project but I was also made aware that there were 2 frontend and 2 backend developers, as well as a designer and 2 QA resources are working behind the scene.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

When we launched our new website, we got good response form the audience and orders are flowing. As the idea is new, we continue to ask feedbacks from our customers and we continue to here positive feedbacks on usability, flow and look of the site.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager that we have assigned was easy to communicate with and provide us frequent updates and quick to response on the feedbacks we provide.

We connected on Team on daily basis by creating a group with point of contact and the resources working on the project and connected on Zoom every week to get the update on the status. In the whole project, we never get any delay in the deadline as the team made sure to release each sprint as per the decided time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was blown away by the knowledge that this vendor had about website design, user experience, and optimization. We learned much more than we thought possible, and we appreciated that they were patient and thoughtful while we came up to speed.

We have worked with other agencies for different areas of the company, but this was a particularly collaborative and positive experience. I will certainly engage with this company again for any website needs that we have in the future.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Everything can always be done faster but we are very satisfied with their work every step of the way. In the end, quality is more important than the speed and we ended up with a beautiful product.

The Taazaa team and I worked very collaboratively and productively on the deliverables: messaging, positioning, editorial calendar, content strategy. and content mapping.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The Taazaa team is top-notch. If you're looking for a true partner that cares deeply about close collaboration, understanding you, meeting, and exceeding your expectations, AND if you need a team that will deliver the best possible result for your business, you should look no further. Are there any areas for improvement?

If hard-pressed, the only area for improvement is a humblebrag: the team is humble in the best possible way - sometimes so much, so that their respect for their counterparts leads them to give room to things that could be addressed more directly. Again, it's not really a criticism, because humility, openness, and active listening were critical for the success of our project.

We’re a franchise that specializes in building services and health. Our organization has 50 locations across the country, covering about 80% of the US population.

What challenge were you trying to address with Taazaa Inc.?

We wanted to coordinate scheduling, photo file management, and move forward into a full CRM system.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

There was no existing program when they started with us. However, we laid a basic vision out for them when they first visited us. Then, we had a question-answer session to help them flesh out the details. Through the solution they created for us, we’re able to collect data from franchisee payments through our accounting system and automate post-service communications such as newsletter distributions and maintenance mailings. The franchise system also allows us to audit franchisee annual results against their weekly submitted results. 

At this point, they have elements built out that can collect before and after images, invoices, and drawings. This allows the salesperson to begin their process. Once they’re completed, they can match their images to complete a marketing pair, which we can strategically use for downstream marketing.

We’ve had 2–4 people involved at points throughout the project. There is one main point of contact.

We saw an advertisement for their company just as we began looking for a partner. One key factor in choosing them was their ability to layout a timely, actionable plan that they were able to follow through on.

We’ve been working with them since around January 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our goal is to make the system intuitive and efficient. Those on our team who have attempted to make the transition, have remained engaged with the system. That indicates to me that it’s allowing them to do their jobs more easily than they were before. Their team is also able to take and quickly implement feedback within a week or two, generally keeping our engagement fast and smooth. 

How did Taazaa Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

We meet on a regular basis to determine what has been accomplished and what adjustments we have to make based on prior developments.  Then, we’re able to get a better understanding of our next steps for the future. They cover both short and long term priorities, meeting all our expectations for project plans, assessments and team deadlines. We’re likely more responsible for lags in the timeline than they are.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve done a great job of delivering exactly what we’re looking for. Instead of simply delivering a functioning product, they seek to understand our true needs. They’ve created something that’s intuitive and easy to work with. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Initially, we needed to improve on getting estimates from them on time, so we could manage our expectations and factor them into the project. We recognized this and now have a process that works well for us. At this point, we have a clear understanding of what they can do. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Try to layout the full project ahead of time and obtain a general timeline. We want to ensure that we have some idea of how their hours will be used throughout the process. The sooner you get started with the process, the better.

Our Company offers a free rental property management software that makes it easy for small to mid-sized landlords to screen tenants, collect rent, sign leases, and manage tenants online. I am the Director of Business Development there.

To improve our software that was currently being developed in house, increase our inbound marketing, and create a mobile app for our users.

They were recommended to us by another company. There were three possible vendors, but they could not match Taazaa on price or quality of work. This project was make or break for us so we had to choose a result-driven partner who was equally committed to meeting deadlines.

Taazaa designed, developed, configured, and launched the second version of our software. The project began with their System Architect and Project Manager meeting with our CEO.

Goals and objectives were set and never missed. Daily touch bases were conducted and overall project updates were performed on a weekly basis. Each team member took ownership in Innago making our new software rollout seamless.  

What was the team composition?

The project team had ten people. The Project Manager was our main point of contact and gave updates to the Innago team on a daily basis. Additionally, there was a System Architect, six Web Developers, and two Quality Assurance Engineers.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our software was developed and launched earlier than expected. Project completion was a major achievement for our team and our investors. After this project we decided to keep Taazaa on full time for ongoing projects. Since we have been able to release each new feature on Innago at least two weeks ahead of time. 

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was very impressive, especially compared to other vendors. Again the Project Manager touched based with us on a daily basis to relay delays, change in team members, etc. This caused zero down time between our team and the Taazaa team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

From the CEO to the newest team member I never felt our work was outsourced. The team took ownership in every aspect of the project.

No, I just wish we found them sooner.

We hired Taazaa to develop a web application that contains all recovery claims, tracks status, correspondence, and reporting. This was a replacement/improvement on existing application.

The goal was to build a user friendly and effective application that can track the results of all of our work and be used as part of our marketing.

How did you select this vendor?

We found Taazaa via a web search. We interviewed them along 3 other firms. They were clearly the best choice for us. They spent time understanding our business and what our needs were for the application. I found this to be unique as most firms just want to do the work.

We supplied our configuration for the application with the understanding that Taazaa would make recommendations on changes and improvements. They took this and developed a detailed plan on the various stages for the development. We met with them on a regular basis to review status and to approve and make changes to the app.

There was a project manager and a couple of programmers who worked on the app. This was based upon our delivery expectations.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The Application turned out much better than I expected. It looks fantastic and we regularly use it in marketing and demos for prospects. Most importantly, the app does everything we need to track all of the claims generated which is the lifeblood of our company. It is easy to use and we have had Taazaa make many additions to the app over the last 2 years.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project mgmt was developed by Taazaa and met our expectations. We wanted on on shore (US) presence plus someone who would oversee the programmers. We found their project mgmt to be effective.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was most impressed with the way the entire team worked to understand our business and why the App was important to us. They made many recommendations to improve our vision and asked good questions throughout the process. I found this to be unique in this industry. My experience is that most firms simply want the work and will do what we tell them.

Are there any areas for improvement?

A minor suggestion is to manage scheduling of their staff better. We had no major issues with though.

I am the lead of innovation for a tire manufacturer.

What challenge were you trying to address with Taazaa Inc.?

Taazaa helped us work through one of our complex e-commerce projects. We were trying to create a seamless and easy way for consumers to identify what type of tires were best for their cars.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

At the start of our engagement, we framed our problem and Taazaa was able to come up with a prototype pretty quickly. They developed an MVP for an image processing technology to help us solve the tire selection problem.

With it, consumers can take a photo of their tire, and based on the tire’s inscription, receive a selection of the right tires. The team also helped us build a license plate-based tire identification system, which worked in the same way. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with three members of their team in total. There were two people assigned to the work, and we had one main point of contact here in the US.

How did you come to work with Taazaa Inc.?

I know the founder of Taazaa through my personal network.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began in February of 2019, and the bulk of the work wrapped up in December 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We are extremely satisfied. We mostly measured success by the technical performance of the prototype, which has been fantastic so far. 

The responsiveness of the team was great. Whenever we requested a change, they were very quick to respond to it, and the availability of the team around the clock was amazing. Those qualities are just as important as the technical skills they displayed. What Taazaa promised, they delivered.

How did Taazaa Inc.perform from a project management standpoint?

They used Jira, and communication was pretty well handled by the account leader, founder, and the software developer. We always felt we were well-updated on progress and where the project was headed. There were no issues.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The speed, quality, and cost of execution were the most impressive aspect of our engagement. It was a very quick execution and very reasonably priced. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We were satisfied with our project. The initial UI could have been a little better, but it wasn’t what we were focused on, nor was it a big requirement for the project itself. Other than that, not much comes to mind.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Taazaa is a one-stop digital capabilities shop as well as a custom software shop. They are very nimble, flexible, and agile and you should take that into consideration if you’re thinking of partnering with them.

We create QC software for digital media with customers worldwide. I am responsible for our global business development activities, which includes marketing, sales and customer interactions.

While we are good at creation of digital media relates software, we lacked a comprehensive marketing approach and a customized solution to track our digital marketing activities. We hired Taazaa to develop an internal cloud-based system for tracking and managing our digital marketing activities.

Our goal was to have an easy to use comprehensive portal for Sr. management to track, and operate our digital marketing efforts, and make different view available for all employees so they can see the effect of their work in our marketing effort.

This project resulted in a cloud-based platform where we track all of our digital marketing efforts, including results of each campaign, along with task assignments and follow ups. The team included a very solid capable manager and 2 proficient developers and 1 graphics designer.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

With this centralized tracking and management system, we have been able to very effectively oversee our digital marketing effort, changing priorities and focus, based on related events or outcomes. It has allowed us to manage complex and demanding campaigns with many moving parts, quite well, something that was 'hit and miss' before and resulted on wasted effort and money by missing opportunities or responding to slowly to the events.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project management was handled by a senior leader who was quite effective in moving the project forward, understanding our needs and translating them into meaningful actionable items that the team was able to complete. Regular, short and focused status meetings were held, and regular executive level reports were provided to allow us to stay on top of the ongoing activities.

I was quite impressed with their level of dedication, professionalism, focus, and attention to detail. They took the job seriously as if it was done for their own company and showed their level of care by taking the extra steps and paying close attention to the nuances and details.
