Design and Art Direct Founder’s room wall to be a feature for the HLA Family Office with the idea of combining HLA’s past, present and future vision. Propose a set of customized illustrations to be executed on the wall with a mix of two techniques - Skim Coat and Sika’s Cement 3D Printing.

1. Ideate and conceptualise design direction for the mural to capture the company's history. 
2. Recommend material and technique process, technically feasible for the artwork and reflecting the company's business and history. 
3. Successful installation.

They were extremely dedicated to the timeline and very responsive at all times. Although the installation took longer than expected, we compromised on an extended deadline with the common understanding that we did not want to rush the technical process in order to ensure the final product turned out well.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We had a wonderful experience working with Debby and Matt! We loved working with them because of their passion and ethos in trying new things and creating unique pieces to achieve their client's vision. They are also full of positivity and really care about their client's projects. That is priceless!

Are there any areas for improvement or something STUDIO DAM PTE. LTD.} could have done differently?

1. We went through a few rounds of design changes and perhaps this could have been lessened by having clearer objectives or questions to guide the design development process. 
2. The timeline took longer because of the unique technical aspects of our project and hence, they could have looked into this part more closely to have that understanding earlier.

I am the Director of the company. We manufacture premium, healthy and artisanal pet food and treats and retail them via our website and our physical store. The Dog Grocer prides itself on advocating and encouraging pet owners and their pets to play a part in more sustainability efforts towards reducing food and plastic waste.

We hired STUDIO DAM PTE LTD to do a Brand Refresh project to resonate better with our target market. We were looking for a more consistent, structured approach as to how the different brand elements can come together and be presented for stronger association and retention in our customers mind.

We found several companies online and narrowed the list down to those that are qualified ESG consultants. After interviewing with them, we decided to work with STUDIO DAM PTE LTD because they understand the importance of how we wanted sustainability to be truly integrated with the branding.

To start, they interviewed key members of our team to get a baseline understanding of the company's values. They then researched extensively on local and overseas competitors to identify where are the shortfalls, strengths and areas of improvement for the brand.

We worked directly with Debby, the co-founder of the company, as well as Adila, who was Project Lead. Several interns and branding executives were involved during different parts of the project as well.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Because of the project, our online and in-store brand feels are now consistent and cohesive. The brand feels younger and more in-touch with our target market. We have received many compliments on the brand re-fresh.

We had monthly meetings with the team to go over the progress and next steps. We communicated predominantly via Whatsapp and emails very regularly. Updates and replies are always very prompt and clear. Work was finished in a timely fashion.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

As this is their first encounter with a pet industry business and having no pets of their own, they spent a lot of effort to understand how/why pet parents behave, shop, care for their pets in order to understand how the brand will be able to communicate with the target market. The team's energy was impressive, and the outcomes were more than what we asked for.

The team did very well.

Designed the product box and carton packaging for 2 variants in a new product category. As this was a relatively new product format in an existing product category, the product required consumer education. 

Hence, to create a packaging design which enables the consumer to understand product, how it is used and its benefits. The design must also complement the rest of the brand’s product range, yet stand out among competing brands. The product box and carton design must also deliver in terms of functionality.

Good visual impact on the store’s shelves despite the sea of competing product categories. In addition, most consumers understood what the product was with the information available on the product box.
